Bad community

Very intense frontline combat! The start is very hard and if you finally got your hands on it - it is still hard. Definitely not the most relaxing game but that should be quite normal if the enemy MG's putting fire down on you and it is raining shrapnel from the sky! Excellent game, highly recommended!

DCS is a very good simulation but I recommend not to use the steam version - use the non steam version from the dcs website instead. You get acces to air vehicles earlier then if you would using the steam version.


You need a joystick and lots of patience in order to play - pedals are not a 100% requirement.

Very good fun if you got the right guys to play with!

gameplay: 8/10 (simple controls but still challenging but i wish there would be more options for customization fe: toggle crouch,...)

graphics: 4/10 (graphics are not the best, tip: if you go a NVIDIA card change change settings for the game in the NVIDIA control panel)

sound: 3/10 (sounds okay for a F"P)

performance: 8/10 (every decent PC can run it, no lag, sometimes you will have a high ping which can be annoying)

conclusion: Good game, no pay2win, much fun and the War mode is great! Good F2P FPS.

ARMA 3 is (one of) the best game(s) I have ever played - even after 2500+ h !

gameplay: 9/10 (Very complicated controls - at least at the start, you will need to put some time in optimizing them! But the movement system you get from that is amazing!)

graphics: 10/10 (It is a very good looking game)

sound: 10/10 (sounds amazing, if you hear the bullet crack over your head you will hope to see CAS engaging the enemys...)

performance: 7/10 (You need a very good processor to run arma 3 and it is not the best optimized game out there but it is a sandbox with massive modding support so if you look from that side its great)

conclusion: Very very good game!

I recommend this game! It offers something for everyone: Military sim (coop), RPG (life servers), FPS-styled gamemodes (king of the hill, wasteland), ...

Buy it, its worth the money!
