Angrykorean was the only asian who travelled with King Edward into France and there he became renowned during the battle of Crecy. He was knighted on the field for gralloching a marshal and later ransomed three viscounts, gaining the wealth he needed to secure the peerage of banneret. At age twenty-eight he became the earl of Wetend and his son, Furiouskorean, was able to rise to the rank of banneret before the Black Prince's plundering of France in the late 14th century, and there started the free company known as "The Angry Koreans" who scurged the French for decades and even got hired by Italian bankers to support a papal crusade. In the early 15th century Angrykorean and his son moved back to asia where they used their wealth to boon the lives of the burgaged villein.
