Dont suggest buying it at the moment.
News came out recently that the entire development team will likely be liquidated by the end of the summer.
It seems this game will likely be officially and totally dead in the coming months.

Game runs ok and had immense potential, especially with the release of the science update in late 2023.
I would just stick with KSP 1 at this point, it's currently unlikely that KSP 2 will continue any development from now on.

I dont know what it is about this game but I always come back every year after playing for 2 weeks straight, it's kinda like minecraft in a sense.

That being said, sometimes it's a really chill experience just driving (usually legally) across the US, although I know my time is coming up when I'm blowing 100MPH with a full load and pulling some extremely risky moves while just plowing through a traffic accident because I couldn't slow down in time.

>At this point, world war 2 just broke out
>Justify war against El Salavador
>Declare War
>Send massive onslaught towards their capitol, proceeds to tell me war should be won in 2 days
>fast forward 69 days later, divisions are crushed and they take my country

Literally sent around 150K troops against 50K troops.
I lost 110K and they only lost 10K, literally so confused.
Pretty fun though

It's fine, multiplayer is not for primarily two reasons.

1. Community is barely there, servers are empty.
2. The servers that are there are generally not friendly to noobs at all and WILL kick you out

An actual work of art! It's a beautiful and pretty realistic flight sim.
Still some bugs but it's a lot more stable now since it first came out.

I will say though though, only 50 hours of my "playtime" is actually flying, the rest was sitting in the download/update screen :(

A fun little simulation of celestial objects! There are more and more updates coming out that making this an even more rich and detailed system! I highly suggest you get this neat simulation, it rarely bores you!

This game is really fun.

Beginnings: First had 3 colonists (forgot their names), they all got heatstroke and died. I decided to wait a little...
Ending: A lady named Libby finally comes, she harvests the food, fixes the machinery. Life goes well. Next, a freaking wussy, sorry excuse for a fat lady joins it. She's good at mining and constructing, but she goes through countless meltowns and drug overdoses. Eventually a lady named melee comes, she's a pyromaniac. Melee is fine and is a great fighter and constructor. For a bit life is well. Eventually, a smuggler named latch comes along, she is actually really helpful and has a good aim. For awhile the 4 are living a good, life have lots of food... But it wasn't until winter, when all Hell broke lose. Latch went crazy for some reason and started a massive fire, but thankfully it didn't burn down the colony. But it was her 7th fire spree, so we euthanized her... After that all went well. Soon, Melee's dad arrived to visit, but he was hurt. About 2 nights after his visit, Melee went mad, and started a fire in the colony. it grew and grew... And then 4 heavily armed raiders arrived. I sent all my colonists to fight them off. We fought them off but Libby was hurt, we had her try to fight the fire more, it was raging. Libby faced severe burns and collasped. The rest of the colonists ran. Melee's dad was hurt as well. Libby couldn't get up an burn't alive. Latch's body went up in flames. But the fire died down. And we were left with one medium sized barrack. Parker and melee tended to Melee's dad's wounds. They then struggled for the next day as -5 degree temperatures ravaged the land. The next night.. Parker and Latch where gathering wood to help insulate the building. Then they got into a fight... Parker sevely injured Melee and left her to die in a heavy snow storm at night. Parker fed Melee's unsuspecting dad, and went to bed. Then, Melee's dad literally woke up in the middle of the night, and looked for melee... He found her frozen and dead. Melee's dad then rushed into Parker's room (while a caravan arrived) and beat up Parker badly, but didn't kill her. Melee's dad then came out and attacked the caravan, but they killed him. Parker slowly died in her freezing room. And it was the end for Lakeside Ridge.

The game is ok... It has flaws, it has some performance issue (I have 8GB of RAM (that I might upgrade) a GTX 960m with 4GB of VRAM and a Quad Core 6th gen CPU) AI is is bogus and makes stupid choices a lot. I also feel as if something is unbalanced just can't tell what. On the plus side the game is good as well. I really like the district idea and the corps thing but other than that the game just isn't as fun as CIV 5 or 4 or lower. I don't reccomend buying it for 60 dollars as the game does not feel like 60 bucks at all and in it's current state. So don't buy this game BUT DONT keep this from preventing you from buying it in the future, as this game has potential. MORAL OF THE STORY, WAIT (of buy it and wait) AS I THIS GAME HOPEFULLY WILL BE WORTHY OF 60 BUCKS IN THE FUTURE WHICH MAY MEAN TOMORROW OR THOUSANDS OF YEARS FROM NOW.

Man, this game is amazing especially when your whole team communicates and thinks at the same time.
Few games and experiences can mimic that.

Also the chat is truly a intriguing place where you find very interesting ideologies and men whose lives are completely destroyed to the point where they only find any source of happiness from this game or any topic related to it. But man is it fun!

That time when you thought you won against the the dumbest AI and have control over their base until you find out a little squad of machine gun robots killed your CEO.
