Yo dude, if you get into a situation where you know your opponent is gonna trade another AA with yours, start trying to assault boost as soon as you're done popping your AA. Assault boosting has impact reduction, so you can often escape the otherwise guaranteed stun of their AA and queue a kick immediately, staggering them instead!
