Is the game fixed? Well, Idris Elba says so. I am not as concerned with bugs here and there. Something important gets ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, just reload it. Whatever. In fact, I find the strange bugs that are out of place to add to its charm. Is the gameplay good? I mean, it's actually halfway decent. I don't really have too much of a problem with the shooter mechanics, and I have found the cyberdeck mechanics to be more engaging this time around than my first V character I only barely got to Act II with before uninstalling.

Is the story good? I mean, I am a fan of tech-savvy stories. Things like Star Trek, Mass Effect, and Code Geass (Knightmare Frames--basically less-cool Gundams with wheels) are some of my favorite stories. Hell, even the concept of a technology-based dystopia is great when handled correctly--which I think this story does in a lot of ways, and is further-enunciated in the Edgerunners anime.

But honestly, I just... don't care. The story was really interesting as it got thrown on its head at the end of Act I, but for whatever reason, I just... Don't want to finish the story. I'm not bored of it, but... I just don't have the motivation to continue this story. Something about it feels... Idk, maybe I feel TOO immersed in it.

It's a simple matter of taste, I suppose. It does not work for me. Objectively, the game seems like it's finally all there. But for me, I really couldn't care less about what happens in this game. Johnny Silverhand is not a character I care for. V is someone I can barely get behind. All these other characters I really don't like. And the world they've thrown us in? It sends shivers up my spine when I think about how close we are to a reality such as this, the corporate technocracy that we are this close to having like they do. How addicted we will be to BD's, how dependent we will be on things that will nickle and dime us into poverty, how porn will be in mainstream ads, how everything vies for our undivided attention only to sell us ♥♥♥♥ that ultimately will enslave us... I mean, we're basically already there. I like games that allow me to escape, not highlight the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that exists in our world with a spotlight so bright it doubles as an X-Ray. I'm not even remotely saying the game is bad, but having 20 hours under my belt on this game, I can honestly say that I tried it--twice. And both times I really could not see myself finishing this product.

Great for my increasingly-large nostalgia trips. DK64, you are the gem of my childhood...

A game from my childhood; though, I never really got out of the first level, the Port of Adia. Hell, I didn't even get halfway through it as a kid. That being said, as an adult I am having a blast playing through the game as intended:

With cheats.

The classic. This game is half as old as I am, and still plays like your first car that was a total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but you can never hate because it worked even if it was janky. The memories both brought has elevated them to demigod status in your mind.

Will buy for Samsung Smart Fridge when available.

I put the Ring-Around-the-Rosy sfx with a heartbeat on our Discord soundboard which I play when the lights go off to scare the ♥♥♥♥ out of my friends.
Imagine my shock when the real one comes on at the same time and my flashlight stops working.

11/10, would get buried with the Wraith again.

Larian is the new CD Projekt Red, by which I mean it has attained the title from them of being the developer that can do no wrong. Divinity: Original Sin 2 is great. BG3 is life. Can't wait for the full game to be released.

I've enjoyed the game thus far. Everything seems to be there.

Except the playerbase. A buddy and I have, on more than one occasion, tried queuing up for PvP, and have thus far had no success. I have yet to play PvP. Steam Charts suggest there's a little under a thousand people playing. Where the hell are they? Why is this game not being played? It's fun! It's the 3rd-person shooter MOBA I have wanted. Can we move into 1.0 already so the f2p people come and support this?
