Very faithful remake that makes nothing but improvements to the story, weapons and missions across the board.

The node upgrades notably are the best they've ever been in the series. Kinesis impalement has been added from later games. Loads of new areas and a decent amount of new side missions to do.

The graphics do look amazing but in my experience with a 6600xt and a r5600x I could only get 50 fps on medium in the most graphically demanding areas. Most of the time it was in the 60-80 fps range

There is quite a bit stutter when loading areas for the first time. Noticable at the beginning of the game but later in the game rarely happened

That said it's still the best remake I've ever played and I would highly recommend it

The base game is one of the best FPS games ever made but this DLC has ruined the flow of combat with the addition of spirits and just absurd amounts of gimmick encounters. They focused so much on making the game hard they forgot to make it fun. This is coming from someone who did an ultra-nightmare playthrough of the base game as well so it's not like I'm some guy who can only beat the game on HMP
