To sum it up:

Incredibly fun game
Great customization with perhaps some room for improvement but the foundation is amazing.
Progression is very reasonable and not frustrating.
They nigh-on perfected the aesthetic/atmosphere of 40k.
The story is fun, it's no writing masterpiece but it doesn't need to be. It knows what it needs to do, and does it well.
Surprisingly well optimized all things considered.
Has some issues to work out regarding crashes, but nothing too egregious.
Can't wait for additional content. Probably one of my favourite games this year.

Alright and now my post patch review.

the game was nice, it had some issues and a lot of the changes in the patch ARE good.
But the AI nerfs are significantly too extreme, they do no damage at all.
But they ruined all of the game's difficulty to appease the ego of people who think that not being able to play the highest difficulty is some kind of personal insult to them and their mothers.

Amazing game, and sony has backed off like they should have to begin with.

Hopefully this game will continue as it has.

Made a dwarf with kleptomania.
Stole tons of ♥♥♥♥.
At one point tresspassed to steal some ♥♥♥♥, failed.
bullshitted my way out of it.
Party mates couldn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ their way out of it.
Caused a party wipe.
10/10 would recommend.

They do not care about their game one bit.
The issues that the game has had have existed for years now, but they continue to do nothing to fix it in favor of adding overpowered premiums, and actively making the game worse with tweaks that screw over the players that don't want to spend 70 euros on a virtual plane.

It has virginia and it has Kelvin.
I love them both, kelvin because he is just a treasure to be around. Yes he is mentally challenged but that doesn't change that he is an overall benefit and he has that grug strength that I respect.
I tell kelvin fish? he fish.
I tell kelvin cut tree? he cut tree.
Kelvin is #1. All hail Kelvin.

And virginia is also great because you can give her a gun and it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ funny as hell.

It's like if you took everything that made halo good:

Fun arcade gamemodes like flood and griffball
armour customization
forge
And removed all of that, and just made some sweaty ass call of duty clone with a halo skin on it.

Sniper ghost warrior contracts is... nice in it's own way, it had a lot of features that I must say I enjoyed very much.
But there is a chronic lack of content. I played through the entire thing in 12 hours, while being painstakingly slow about it too. I played sniper ghost warrior 3 for a good while longer and enjoyed it significantly more too. It's campaign was big, when I thought the map was reasonably big, it turned out the map I was playing on was actually just one of several. And it was open world which is also a big plus.
The wind is just horrifically exaggerated
Gameplay> realism but.. a 70 meter shot and my bullet going any degree to the left? That's a bit silly.
And the guns are just.. I don't really see the point of there being different guns because other than the difference between semi automatic and bolt action there's no real difference between the sniper rifles.
And the bugs... I am just not even going to start about the bugs. They said sniper ghost warrior 3 was bad.. but I must say while it had it's issues I never found it near unplayable due to the amount of bugs.


In conclusion, the game isn't horrific.. but it is highly disappointing and not worth it's pricetag

Got this game on my ps3 when it came out and got god knows how many hours on it there playing splitscreen with my brother, I absolutely bloody ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this game it's probably my favourite game ever out there. And people who judge it by it's looks are the biggest fools there are, it may look cartoonish but it is way freaking better than majority of all games out there currently. Alone this game can get you tons of fun, With friends this game is beyond amazing and hands down the best game ever.

Best star wars game I've ever played, if it had co-op I'd go nuts because that'd make it EVEN MORE amazing. I truly hope for a 2nd part but I kow it'll never happen.
