You don't stop playing because you get bored, you stop playing because your save breaks for no reason and you don't have the strength to make another one. The colonists you spent a few days investing in, gone in practice as you desperately try to fix what is now only effectively a memory. You can have them shudder in place as the fundamentals of reality are shattered around them. Or you can let them live on in their tiny pocket of reality, as the rest of the world is removed completely - gone and never to be accessed. Their stories will remain uncompleted as you lie to yourself an end for them. But you know in your heart that it is not enough, it is not satisfactory. Their end has yet to come, and it never will. Distraught, you will abandon the game for months - knowing only sadness at the incomplete book that was your progress. And then, a new story will begin as it draws you in anew.

Don't ever play this game
