Very good game for griefing, trolling around and making some teamkills in the spawnzone. The kickvote system doesnt work and if someone finally can kick you then you can rejoin in 2-3 mins. Use such tactics on official servers, it makes more fun there because there are no admins.

Was following the game since its release here on steam and on youtube. Checked from time to time some news on whats going on and what changes have been made. Usually i am not spending money on early access games but the wintersale came and i wanted to test it myself. Now, after spending over 200 hrs on pvp server i want to say a word here. English is not my native language, so please have patiece for my grammar.

--The game is not userfriendly for new players. There is an tutorial in game, which is pretty nice and well made. It explains the battle mechanics. However its not covering all the trading, crafting and the strategic part of the game. I know its early access, but is it hard to write a manual in PDF in at least one language? After 3 Years of developement?
--The game is very time consuming, specially if you want or need to play as trader to get a start up.If you are not ready to invest a lot of time you will not find yourself in a decent ship, especially after you lost one in a battle.
--The World is empty, i mean if you want a good pvp fight you can sail hours and still looking for target. Thats why people are forced to go to enemy capitals. Then you end up fighting a group of low leveled players which are suported by npc´s and later some other players. The other option is to stay in your capital and waiting for the enemy. The end is viceversa 8 your ships vs 1 "suicider".Some players are going to hunt nps´s because nothing is going on and people want some action.
--Missions are boring, for example: kill 10x ship X or Y
--In a lot of cases, the combat is one sided so the goal is to chase or to escape.
--Pay to win Ship-DLC´s and Admiralty DLC.
--One of the best game features is locked for you if you play solo or in small groups with friends because only big clans can participate in fort battles.


Some positive things that i want to say about the game:

--The playerbase is small, friendly and helpfull, havent met toxic people at all.
--The battles are breathtaking, full of action and emotions. If you find a good opponent, you have surely not wasted your time.
--Servers are stable with a daily 1 hour maintenance. No technical issues during the gameplay.


Do i recommend the game?
NO, because everyting is taking rediculous ammount of time: sailing between ports for getting goods, searching for more or less even battle. Cant even craft as much as you want because of the working hours limit, which uses real time to fill up. The way developers changing the game in favor of only big clans and doing the game easier and more arcade should be an extra review but i am sure there are already enough of them.
The price of 37 € would be good for a game which was planed at the beginning of the developement, but at the moment, after 3 years of early access, noone knows how the final game will look like and what disapointing changes will be made again.When on Sale and a lot of free time is available its worth to try.

The community is really toxic, thats also a reason why the voip function was removed out of the game.A team-based game without voice support.... well thats past century. After you reach lvl 16 you will meet a lot of exploiters and glitchers.Dont buy this game!
