Haven't played in years but have fond memories of getting spawn killed by dinos for four hours with my cousin on my old garbage laptop which could barely play the game on its lowest settings.

I literally cannot imagine how many hours I put into FortressCraft back on the Xbox 360, probably one of the most nostalgic games for me. 2011-2012 I basically lived in the basement, I had so much fun and the creative workshop options were the best, and then the soundtrack while repetitive was always enjoyable to listen to.

I only stumbled across this game when I was feeling nostalgic and googled "FortressCraft" on YouTube and I saw the Steam trailer from a year ago, so I immediately bought the game and loaded it up and all the memories came flooding back. It was kind of funny feeling the muscle memory of controller controls coming back.

Nostalgia aside, it would be cool if the game got bug fixes and new additions versus being the same as the Xbox version. There are a few bugs I don't remember happening on the Xbox version as well, sometimes light fixture textures won't load, if you have 2 different coloured lights they will only appear as 1 colour, and I had some issue with custom blocks rotating themselves after they've been placed.

I get that it's an old game but some other items like doors, more block varieties would be nice.

Before I had a computer that could handle BeamNG I used to watch videos of it all the time, in 2016 I was finally given the gift of pro gamer desktop power. This game is super fun, with or without mods you'll always find something to do. The soft body physics are amazing, of course, and the maps are great as well (and also going through a overhaul), the vast amount of mod maps you can download also keeps game play fresh.

Another thing to consider is the Automation/BeamNG collab. It's super fun to create your own vehicle from scratch (engine & everything) and then be able to play it in an open world environment unlike almost any other game. I've created hundreds of vehicles & it never stops being fun. Would 100% recommend this game.

I originally bought this game after the exporter partnership with BeamNG was announced, and for me personally that is still enough on its own to recommend the game. There is an extreme level of creativity in building the cars you want in Sandbox mode. Each update makes the game that much better, and the exporter is improving constantly as well.

It is a little graphically intense for my poor tired GTX 960, but I can still enjoy a balance of normal/high settings.

Pure nostalgia trip. I remember playing this game years ago when it first came out on Xbox Indie store.

I do not call this game a clone. It is so much more entertaining & has so much more content to mess around with!

I am so glad I finally get to relive those days! I highly recommend even for new players!

I wrote a review for this game when I was young an immature so I decided to come back and clearly state why you should avoid purchasing this game at all costs.

Before & during the time of release of this game in 2014, the developers at Ovilex Software had several *free to download* apps available on mobile devices which were pretty decent mobile games especially for its time. When I first saw this game available on Steam I remember being excited thinking it would be an even better experience, but to my shock and disbelief after purchasing I discovered that this game is basically a complete port of the *free* mobile version with a light menu re-skin and terribly optimized controller/keyboard controls which don't function properly.

To pay $15 for a game that is/was not only FREE, but ran BETTER on mobile devices is a travesty. Gameplay is terrible, controls are terrible, and its a borderline scam. Do not buy this game.

Unturned is a amazing open world survival game that gets you hooked right in on the menu.

Anyone who likes DayZ but doesn't have a great PC, this game is definetally an amazing substitute.

For the time I played this game I am getting all my friends to get it and try it. I have never played such a good survival game and I can't wait for the future updates.

THIS GAME IS 90% EPIC, AND IT WAS MADE BY A 16 YEAR OLD!!!!

I received a game key for this before it publicly released, thank you DJArcas.

I haven't spent much time in it over the years, but I enjoyed getting to relive some of my childhood with an added story element / tons of game play mechanics which separate it from its predecessor. I had written a previous review but I was young and dumb, so I decided to update and give more context to my thoughts on the game. Would definitely recommend for anyone who is into factory/conveyor/survival/industrial types of games set in a blocky universe.
