good game sadly mid later game turns into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, overall good rpg

C'mon just get the game.

Was a nice game. Paid full price back when it was a early access thing... later on they went full release and gave ingame currency for the backers... not bad.

The core of the game was good i really enjoyed playing it and also the constant updates keep me coming back for a while till it became stale... with pointless updates.

i've been a dead frontier fan since the 2d one.
the dead frontier 3d was a huge fiasco with a insane amount of grinding and pay 2 win aspects long story short it sucked.

now we have dead frontier 2 which seems to emulate the 3d pretty darn well. don't waste your time with this game.

atleast seems the pay 2 win element is gone...

this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good.

i used to own a pirate copy of this on early 2000. was a blast with endless (not really) possiblities to aproach diferent situations. and most important was friendly not like the others 90's crpgs.

play this game. if you have not tried this before.

-if you are a new fan to the franchise post fallout 3, try this im sure it will like you.

First of all never had the opportunity to try this game, back then when it was released.

glad i didn't.

this game is a pretty okaish game by all means (on paper has everything to make it a masterpiece but everything it does, does it wrong.

--The gameplay.

ugh, like what?

the gameplay is bland, could have been better or atleast they could force you less to suffer this every chapter.
everything you do is going to check point to check point followed for some incredible annoying shadow enemies that are more annoying to kill. (you will realize than running away is a realiable choice).
also the enviroment doesn't help at all. running on the woods get's boring real fast.

but dont worry mate, you will rewarded every now and then with a piece of story each chapter.

--The Story.

im not going to dive into details here. but, the story is the standpoint of the game (atleast for me) not going to lie the real reason than i brought recently this game is because i was looking for a game ala Twin of peaks.

did i succeed?

kinda, well, not really. this game brings his own charm but follows the concept.. a little bit.

Like i was saying the story is the only thing this game does good... sorta. but for me get's killed by uncharming characters such as the main protagonist, ♥♥♥♥ that guy.
still the course of the story goes quite well but again get's killed by the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ending. i mean like really? you really want so hard to make me buy anal weak 2? oh boy, oh boy.

--Conclusion


i have to admit, maybe i killed my general game experience comparing it to "Deadly premonition" (i mean had my expectations too high).
even thought deadly premonition was Twin peaks the videogame, was an enjoyable experience (have to say deadly premonitions even had boring action segments like this game has) even though it feel less punished and more flexible than this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

if you haven't tried deadly premonition i suggest you do it! you wont regret it.

still this game may be your cup of tea, give it a shot.

the ol' borderlands, feels like a demostration of the engine but is good on it's own way.

revisiting this game i feel like it didn't age quite well.

still worth a try!

What an odd game, i mean doesn't feel like the 90's worms that i used to play, tried to play it but is clunky and is not fun at all.
also the multiplayer is dead.

Feels terrible, screams out "im made with unity" also feels souless BUT... i wont denied is somekind fun...still could be better

good game but the remaster on pc is an insult for the price sure, but still who the hell on steam doesn't have this game on his/her library?

the good think about this is the 64 bit change, now modders can go crazy on it.(not really...)

-the remaster well so far can't see the changes looks the same to me, just adds a a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of blur that ♥♥♥♥♥ off with the textures making it look evenh uglier than vanilla (with mods) and hi res textures. we need an option to disable motion blur.

but still the remaster got it for free, as many of you punks so im dropping my hand up to the game
