Repetitive, linear, loreless.

Good for XP farming.

Buy at a low price only

One of those Tell Tales classics.

The lore.

The crime.

Very immersive.

Well conducted episodes.

The characters.

The problem is choices can feel useless sometimes. The game will choose a path for you anyway

The game is good but I didn’t like the fact that all decisions branches lead to the same conclusion.

For example, The game compels you to pitt against your own brother and dig his wife. I hated that and it was not my choice.

No matter whether I chose to agree with David and stay away from his wife, the game still makes sure confrontations happened between the 2 of us.

I also hated the way the game treated AJ like a rare asset to the community. he is irrelevant in torn world.

In fact I never really care about AJ.

The concept is simple. Battle Royal in teams of 2-3 players.

It is free to play and fair to the players that haven’t bought packs.

Weapons & attachments are randomly placed in the map so even the best players have to make due with what they find.

Legends have unique skills making the game even more unpredictable.

The boundary of the map closes in the players every 2-3 mins which forces teams to constantly move and prevent camping.

Drawback : can be repetitive & frustrating at time.

I played this game when it came out and I was somehow disappointed. I expected better..

Years later I decided to give it a chance with a couple of mods:

- DEI
- AI mods
- And some others.

Well I am still disappointed at the AI.

Even with mods the CAI will still wage war for no apparent reasons, even if you are miles apart or if you have a non-aggression pact.

Battle AI is very predictable anyway, I feel like playing a 5 years old.

Buy this game if you are an absolute fan of Rome or on sales.

Hilarious game. Puzzles are sometime hard to figure out.

Not bad but not as impactful as Late Shift though . Compared to Late Shift characters and story development are weaker. Relationships and choices seem to matter little. In Late Shift bounding with another character is essential to attain a certain goal. In the Complex I felt I could get by without making such effort. Most characters are pretty much on your side from the get go.

I enjoyed it but I recommend this game on sales to be on the safe side.

A good game flawed with obsolete game sequences.

In 2004 FPS began to integrate vehicles use in their gameplay and Half Life 2 makes extensive use of these sequences.

Problem is we are not in 2004 anymore and those sequences are unbearably long and tedious.

Another issue was that the game is heavily scripted. Enemies always spawn at a fix points and the game would throw at you an unlimited number of enemies until you decide to move forward.

Finally, NPCs in this game are mere husks and you cannot interact with them.

Now to offset those flaws the game is incredibly detailed and lore rich. Levels are varied, there are plenty of different weapons/enemies. It is basically fun to play.

Although all the flaws I mentioned, Half life 2 remains an excellent FPS with a rich story and strong Characters. I liked it enough to purchase a Episode 1 and 2.

For €3.50ish all Half Life 2 games worth the buy !

So far the game is quite entertaining.

Combats are fun but can be redundant after few hours in game.
Fortunately the smooth progression system keeps it interesting
The lore is not as strong as in the X serie (so far so forth) but the AI that accompanies you and guides you throughout the various worlds tells you all you need to know in a hilarious manner (battle wreckage, conflicts between species, mining monopolies).

Overall very good game with possible redundancy on the long run and limited lore (vs X serie).
