Robobeat is super fun, being able to import your own music is really cool especially if you make your own. The music included in the game itself is also really good, but I'm sure you'll spend most of your time listening to your own tracks. So don't be afraid to give some of the in game songs a listen and see if they'll fit into any of your custom playlists.

Gameplay: The movement is silky smooth, the strafe jumping feels amazing especially with the air control upgrade you can come across which I definitely would advise you pick up every chance you get (just don't double up on it unless you want to buzz around like a discombobulated mosquito). The guns are fun and varied, and while I don't personally like weapons like the ping pong and the cosmic, others main those weapons. So I can say with confidence there's already enough variation to suit many different people's needs when it comes to blasting bots.
The variation between rooms is pretty good too, with parkour, timed target shots, and others it gives you more to do with the good feeling gameplay than just shoot bots over and over again, which keeps it from getting stale.

Overall if you like games like ultrakill, and you love music, you'll love this game. I can't really give it a fair rating since I haven't beaten it yet, but it's been keeping me coming back and I really enjoy it

This game is absolutely amazing. I can find myself spending hours playing by myself as both tori and uke, putting myself in the stickiest situations and reversing it on myself over and over. This is vital is you want to get good in this game because there's not much in the way of tutorials besides on youtube. (and those are mostly for running/parkour and stuff) Though you don't have to be good to enjoy playing with other people. Playing online is so fun because you get to fight in a room full of other people and show off your skills as well as pick up new ones in real time. The community is super small but chill, and you can make some friends if you frequent the servers regularly enough. Between all the different standard mods that people play like aikido or Judo or the funny ones you can play with your friends like jesus copter or sledding there's just so much to continuously come back too and get your rectangular, phalange-less hands on you'll never run out. The soundtrack perfectly encapsulates the feeling and essence of toribash. Very warm synth chords lay a feeling of calm, late night ambiance that screams alone... but not lonely. Reverb drowned drums then cascade through the air like rain on tapping on the window, lulling the player into yet another a restful play session. It all has a feeling of sublime peace in a space untouched by the woes of the conscious mind, it brings you to a place in your head far away from the troubles of tomorrow and yesterday, only able to focus on not touching anything but your hands and feet on the floor for a couple of frames. It's beautiful when you and your opponent are playing well, because in the end, no matter the victor; an awesome fight animation was made by two people together in real time, and that's something that can't happen anywhere else in the world than right here in toribash. This game, is simply unlike anything you will ever play again, and I couldn't recommend it anymore. Please, whether or not you're an ex/current Judoka/Wrestler/Grappler/General Martial Arts Enthusiast I still recommend you pick up this game simply to experience the vibe. The vibe when that music first hits and you're alone with Uke in the infinite white expanse, ready to practice another technique.

Only thing I don't like is once you start figuring things out in matchups people tend to leave rather... unceremoniously. The game itself is amazing, and has a ton of directories to discords that can help improvement. Though, for more solitary workers like myself and I'm sure many of you, the bulk of your play will probably be late night casuals getting bodied and bm'd until your ego dissolves allowing you to feel the oneness of the higher consciousness for a brief moment... only to be slapped back into the mind of an infuriated, muscle-less monkey who can't figure out what to do about his digital assailant exploiting his inability to JUST ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PARRY THE FIRE BALL FOR GODS SAKE WHY DO I FAIL TO ADAPT????
