this is literally my favorite game of all time and i dont think its even close.
amazing story, fun gameplay, beautiful music, mind-blowing discoveries, characters that breathe life into the solar system you are exploring, and a message that will stick with me for the rest of my life.
not only is the base game already the most unique experiences ive ever had the pleasure of living through, the DLC is arguably on-par (if not better) than the base game.
this is a game you can only experience once, so the less you know, the less you research, the better.
buy the game (or wait for a sale but its more than worth full price + DLC), open the game, and enjoy.

i still suck

This game is an absolute banger of a shooter. It has an amazing way of telling its story and it's just downright fun. Not super long, around 4 hour campaign, but it's definitely worth the price.

I finished this game's champion mode. Took me more than an hour, using the champion page and buying keys with the IP I gained. I had some friends on call with share screen on, helping me pass this gut-wrenching game. And I wanted to kill myself more than 50 times. We where just constantly asking: "What in the actual ♥♥♥♥ is that" and laughing at the poorly drawn illustrations of the champion abilities. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful. If you have some friends over and just want to get depressed and consider if life really is worth living, download this game. Honestly, I regret even playing it
I Still had a good laugh playing this in my utter confusion.

EDIT: If you have some friends on skype or something like I did, you can have some fun trying to play this.
