Though not a game in the traditional sense, Discovery Tour Ancient Greece is a fantastic supplement to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey that, if nothing else, showcases one of the best historical recreations this franchise has ever seen. Beginning with a brief tutorial in Athens, you have the freedom to explore the world at your leisure, although that is put to a halt once you come across enemies twice your level.

The constant quest's of helping others to get information only to be turned down to travel to another part of the world to complete a quest can get very tiresome and seem repetitive. The world itself is extremely beautiful so at times the travelling does give you a calm sense of mind and always has your eyes open for historical structures and art.

Odyssey offers a unique "War" aspect that is new to the franchise yet seem's as if it was not thought of properly to begin with. Even though you can crush Sparta or Athens twice over, you can NOT pick and choose a side. The only way of doing so it during a Battle & Even after those the winning faction can still hunt you down. After 30+ hours I found myself ignoring war contracts and only going after high loot figures.

Overall I would rate Odyssey 8.5/10
Being so because the world and the story itself are beautiful, yet lack hardship and challenge.
The combat system is Odyssey is also new to the franchise, it takes some getting used to but I find with the correct Abilities you shouldn't have anything to complain about but yet fighting enemies a level or two higher than you can be boring after a few hours of game play.

Odyssey is a game I'd pay for when on sale or gifted. If you want a laid back RPG/MMO with Combat that can be up to your discretion then I recommend this game for you.
