disregarding every eastern anime/jrpg trope, muting the dialogue, turning off intrusive companion chatter, and skipping every single cutscene really improved my experience.

- game was pretty easy, but mechanically sound
- ost was nothing special and they really went overboard with the upbeat orchestral pieces (not a bad thing, just that it was entirely comprised of them)
- didn't pay attention to the story, idk
- co-op was smooth and quick to connect to the host
- cute anime girl, i think i will make her my profile pic
- typical 'souls-like' to a fault; combat is identical, bonfires, collect 'souls' to level up, etc.

i didnt know how to play minesweeper before i played this
literally 10/10 (achievements)

the first 20 minutes was myself and a friend laughing at the animations and physics, the next 8 or so hours was us genuinely ejoying the depth and customization of theorycrafting characters and comps for taking down bosses and maxing out clear speed

○ item/gear progression featuring normal, magic, rare, and unique items
○ there are truly unique items, meaning there's only one of that item in game and you have it
○ disregarding the appearance of the game, it retains a classic arpg feel
○ better than diablo 3
○ it's not on mobile
○ NO MTX/IS FREE
- Pro's/Con's
○ no proper "skill tree", you put points into classes and class abilities/passives/toggled skills
○ 8 man parties
○ low population due to the nature of the game
○ trading
- Con's
○ looks like utter garbage
○ runs like utter garbage
○ 2 man dev team that release patch notes on a discord server (maybe, im not in it)
○ not a whole lot to do at end game other than kill bosses (+/- bosses are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard)

ads snaps from third person to first person instantly (not iron sights, just zoomed in on your reticle), damage dropoff seems random at times, melee combat is really janky and hitstuns you infinitely if you dont have a melee weapon out, generic f2p "everything is available though in-game currency!!!!!" garbage, being placed in a raid or ffa match was in the same queue for some reason, the playerbase is extremely tiny and for good reason.

fortnite is honestly a better option than this
