Imagine Knights fighting it out in a pit. You've got this game.

Pros:
+ Knights in armor with lots of customization
+ Visceral fighting
+ Nuanced in difficulty
+ No Micro transactions

Cons
- Stale after repeating the same maps
- Obvious skill gaps
- Unavoidable cheese tactics (dog-piling/horse couching/etc)

I would consider it easy to play, but hard to master. The fighting for larger maps may boil down to dog-piling, but I fight those one-to-one fights to be the most thrilling part of the game. The only reason I really put this game down for a while was because of its shallow cycle. You get coins for games, you get your cosmetics/weapons, you play some more. If you've got some spare cash and enjoy some arena fighting, this is a game for you.

Personally, this screams a mobile experience transferred to PC. Would not recommend for longer than 6-8 hrs of play. If you feel it's worth your time, it's a decent game. Decent models and squib/rag doll/gib. The story even ties in to some people we know in Warhammer/AoS lore. Wish it was better, but simply is a Diablo reskin - and can't even touch the Path of Exile.

Simply too shallow of an ARPG when you compare competition.

Look, if you can see past the anime influences, you're going to find a compelling game. I can't stress enough that there is a game play loop. There's a ton of replayability and options for armor/weapons. Slay some monsters, get some gear, slay some more monsters. If you pay the entry fee, you'll have plenty to do with a game like this.

Early Access Review
I've already tagged 7+ hours between 3 sessions of this game. Buy the 4-pack. Give 'em to your friends. Laughing shall ensue.

I really wish this game had more of a following. The ships are fun, and have great weight in terms of mechanics vs fire power. It's a lot of fun if you get good team going. I advise getting the game with friends.

Look, this game is good. Do I advise it? No. It's very aggressive in terms of learning curve, and very unforgiving - with not a lot of fun to be had. DUST 514 was a great addition (being free to play and diving a lot into the universe), but the developers did little with it. If you want to play a MMO, You'd be better off playing a different one.

I enjoyed the experience of this game. While the puzzles weren't exceptionally difficult (I guess I followed the logic of the developers well enough), but the climate and setting were exceptionally immersive for me. I advise playing it. However, expect to play it only once - twice at most.

Space Hulk the boardgame was brutal in every aspect - forcing you to be aware of moves and play conservatively enough to be on the good side of the dice gods. The conversion from board to video has not changed much of anything. It still stings to watch a good terminator die, and feels great to come out on top when you know your man should be dead. It is a good gateway to the grim-dark of the 40K universe - if you're alright with the knowledge that you're not going to win every game.
