10/10 would get jumped by scary spiders again

Like many others i have played this game before it came on steam. And boy, was that time well spent. This game has everything you want in a survival building game, bad guys, resources and a sense of difficulty. This game can be very challenging and with the new fog of war implemented, it just got even more.


Though i would personally reccomend this game to people who want a challange, the building aspect is also a beautiful touch.
Therefore i would reccomend this game to anyone who has a love for building just as much as surviving.

Intro:

Dead Realm is a multiplayer hide and seek GEM. Hide and Seek games is something that the game industry lacked. Now that Dead Realm is here i feel i can safely say that I (as a gamer) am hugely satisfied with the Hide and Seek genre because Dead Realm has all the basics you want in a Hide and Seek game. Not to mention its early access so it is bound to be shaped in the way that everyone wants it to be!

Is Dead Realm a scary game?

Yes and No. Dead Realm is scary to an extent. I would say you get more thrills from playing than you would a terrifying feeling that someone is watching you. However that doesent make it any less of a game. The tension of hiding from a monster and hoping that you wont be found is intense. You genuinly feel your heart begin to race and your fingers become clumsy as you look around for the creature. The thrills increase even more when you are trying to escape the monsters clutches! (i would also reccomend using headphones and increasing volume on them, just for the extra excitement!)

Do I need friends to play Dead Realm?

The game is better with friends i admit, however it is still incredibly fun with random people. The only point i would make on this question though is that it is a LOT funner if you have a usable mic. Being able to talk with the other survivors and hear them scream as they get caught is one of the best things about the game. However there is one thing i will say, this game needs more people! I feel as though Dead Realm doesent get the attention it should have. A multiplayer game needs its people, so please do tag along for the ride.

Is the game fair for both seekers and hiders?

It all depends on the persons skill. Neither side is more handicapped than the other. What i comes down to is whether or not you have the skill to survive or reap. Survivers are equipped with decoys to delude the monsters as well as shields they can deploy to escape from the monsters if being chased. On the other other hand the monsters have a double jump ability, a human sensing ability (the humans also have something similar for the monsters) and best of all an invisibility ability which makes the jumpscares all the more intense!
Note: Only the starting monster has the ability to go invisble.

Is it worth buying this game now?

Yes yes and YES. Early access or not this game is too much fun to just pass up on. The pricing is more than worth it for a game that you will eventually receive even more on!

So hurry up people, find some time to come along and hunt or be hunted on Dead Realm!
