Beautiful game, that was released in 2013, 10 years after 64-bit processors become available. The game is 32-bit, which means it cannot run under modern OSes, and the publisher stated that they have no intention to re-release the game as 64 bit (they are a different company than feral, who did release 64-bit versions of 1 & 2).
This game will not work on MacOS Catalina and later, and Windows 11 and later. You have to keep a dedicated 32-bit gaming PC just for this game.

Boring and buggy crap. Had very high hopes for this one, given Fallout 1/2 ARE my favorite games of all time and I was really missing the turn-based combat games a lot. This game is nothing like fallout - no meaningful dialogs, no abilities, just a noisy console shooter ported to PC.

And it is buggy like hell. I've stuck into an endless combat with no enemy after playing an intro mission for an hour. Uh-Ok...

Given this is only an early access intro, loved what I've seen so far. Graphics and mechanics are just perfect. This is as close to fallout as you can get in 2020. The general story kind of sucks, hopefully this will be fixed in a full game. But I do see a potential and I truly enjoyed playing the early access intro chapter.

p.s. Someone wrote a review that this game is very hard to play as he can't get past turrets in Nashville - I find this hilarious. This is not a shooter, this is an RPG. There are at least 3 different ways to get around all turrets, two if you have no level1 computer hacking perk (which allows switching them to your side). If you can't switch the turret off, don't have enough AP to shoot it from around the corner and can't figure out how to press space to collect additional APs, AND can't see a vent shaft - well, this game obivously will be too hard for you...
