Very fun with friends and randoms with mics. A good place to find people to play with is the game's discord. There is a decent mod selection too.

This game has a lot of mini-games that each take maybe 30 seconds to a minute to finish. For me, this is a nice game to have running in the background while I do homework. When I'm bored, I can do a couple of spins on the slot machines or play some arcade games and then get back to work.

This game can be relaxing at times and stressful at others. I think this is a great game for those who want to primarily battle with the elements and explore a snowy wasteland.

Pretty nice for a moon base simulator. Maybe its just me but I wish it was still difficult to survive after getting well established though.

I was close to the enemy trench sitting in a crater when I saw something fly into my hold. I was worried that it was a grenade because then I would have to run out of the hold and risk getting shot by the enemies who were only a dozen feet away. Upon further inspection, a wave of relief swept over me as I realized it was just someone's leg.

I didn't really play this game after I put 50 hours in it because it felt like there was just a bunch of standing around that was too slow paced to me. After a while, I tried it again and saw the real experience of the game. The main focus of the game is not necessarily to have fun. I think the main thing about this game is working with other people as a team to beat the people on the other team. Every game is a little different. The players get to decide where the spawn points are on the map by building FOBs and how each team tackles an objective is going to be different every time whether it be coordinating mortar strikes on a position before rushing in, ramboing through the front with an APC, or sneaking in with the squad through the backdoor. There are also fortifications that can be built to help make the combat environment different every time.

There are some boring roles like logistics, mortars, and building FOBs that aren't as fun but are essential to winning the game. There are going to be times that people don't cooperate and people don't do the jobs they're supposed to but I think that's more of a problem of human nature and laziness than it is of the game design.
