i think it´s a great game to try out during free to play periods or when/if it goes free in the future, but as of now, i don´t think it´s worth to buy, mainly because of long queue times + problems that make the game frustrating and needs to be addressed first.

on the positive side
- gameplay is really fun (at least at first, i imagine it hits different after you "know" the maps and objectives well)
- good looking graphics
- appealing victims and killers
- progressing characters by playing them
- further development so more future characters and possibly events

negative side
- long queue times, first you wait 5 minutes to get into a lobby than you wait another 5-10 for the game to find more players and if you´re lucky you´re going to play a game, if you´re not the lobby will close and you have to start over (and i was playing during free to play weekend where steamdb showed 3x more PC players than usual...)

- no duplicate characters in lobby (you put all your progression points into one character but if someone in the lobby picks them first and they don´t let you swap with them you´re gonna be stuck playing weak level 0 character or leave the game and spend 15 minutes looking for new one where this may repeat again)

- progression is a lot slower after you reach level 10 (by level 10 you can max out 1 character, you get to this level fast, but then it gets slow, which wouldn´t be a problem normally but the "no duplicate" lobbies makes it into one, you need at least 2 leveled up characters)

- expensive new characters (each new character costs 10 euro, which is crazy for a game that costs 40e and sells cosmetics, not to mention you might not even get to play the character you payed for bc of the no duplicate lobbies...)
