This game has potential, but is too janky. Ex: There is a ghoul enemy which leeches stamina which is required for both jumping and attacking. I just died to this enemy because I fell into a room with one and had my ability to attack or jump removed. There is no way for a melee character to beat this situation. You cant attack or escape as soon as you enter.

Fun game, the only problem is that it has a big learning curve. I've played 120 hours almost solely on Abassid Dynasty and I'm just now comfortable with it and able to consistently win a good portion of my games.

This game has tons of micro transactions. This makes it a pain in the ass. I sent my friend a 5$ steam card through steam so he could by the gold for the full version of the base game, forgetting that tax would bring it up to $5.38. Steam removed the ability to add exact funds for games apparently so we have to send him 10$ for a $5 purchase. Its all just really annoying. The roads completely bug out when I pick them up as well which is annoying.

I know that this is a cult favorite and any criticism will be drowned out by people with hardons for the souls genre, but this game is clunky and massively unfun. Sure the world and art are amazing but when I go to hide behind a wall and get 1 shot through it by a non boss enemy and chunked for most of my health while in a roll it's just unplayable. Incomming 'waa git gud" I know but idc.

Honestly the game is fun, but it's far too buggy. I have fun when it is working as it should, however I cannot enjoy it when there are bugged quest objectives (such as an elimination target being inside a wall) and unavoidable deaths (early on I was killed in the infection tutorial because an enemy jumped out of a door and insta killed me. I did it a second time the exact same way and this didn't happen).

Imagine if POE and Sanctum had a Mecha baby. That is this game. There are definitely some clunky parts and it could use some cleaning up but there is a great learning curve and lots of content.

It feels like this game has a great concept and great art but everything is meant to infuriate the player. It's not even a difficulty thing because I'm a long time ROTMG player which is a much more difficult bullet hell game than this, its just that the ways you die always feel like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. There are a lot of annoying things like one specific mob with attacks that go through walls, death trap rooms where you have to dash into one spot to avoid getting obliterated, puzzle room with absolutely no purpose (4 of them in a row) and boss castles that have 2x as many rooms as the entire region leading to it (like fr wtf just let me fight the boss it took almost an hour to get through the boss castle with like 30 rooms compared to the actual region with like 15). Just very annoying and I can't enjoy the game.

Like the doom franchise's less serious middle brother. The graphics aren't top notch ultra realistic, but that's how serious sam is supposed to be. Great successor to the rest of the series, if you haven't played the other serious sam games you don't have to in order to enjoy this one but you won't get a lot of the plot and jokes. But hey, we're here to shoot aliens.

This is an excellent and unique deck builder/tower defense game. Watch a streamer play it for a bit to get a grasp of it but it is worth the 25$ it costs when its not on sale. The negative reviews say 1. it gets stale, and my answer to that is that the genre isn't for everyone. 2. "it's too easy I won on my third try" if you've ever played Slay the Spire, it has "covenant" (ascension) levels where it gets harder the more you win. 3. "it wiped 3 hours of my game play" that is not a wide spread issue and it was 3 hours get over it. I'm sure they will do some fine tuning and add plenty of content in the future. My point is that the negative reviews were written by people who are so ignorant there is no way they'd have fun playing this game anyways.

Not sure why there are immensely negative reviews for this game, of course it's unpolished it's an alpha. I played one game and did not experience any real issues, and it was pretty fun. For the casual gamer, it's free so just give it a try.
