TLDR: It's a resource management sim and not a Omerta or GOC remake. it scratches the itch of people who likes production chains with decent supply and demand mechanics.

I do agree that the naming should be changed to Booze tycoon or something but it is what I already expected from the demo. Now not a lot of people got that luxury of doing so but you could just refund the game and NOT flame the game for it. The devs are already working on fixing bugs and responding rather quickly.

On the topic of having more management features and resources such as prostitution and gambling, this game focuses on Production Chains. It's hard enough to make one for gambling, let alone prostitution. Despite that, the devs did mention that they could be adding those in as a feature so that waits to be seen.

The only problems I have as a tycoon player is the lack of clarity on a few mechanics (regeneration of supply and demand per vendor) and the automated delivery being iffy so far. So I will update this review if things changes!

Early Access Review
If you liked Chivalry Warfare, Mount and Blade series, Dynasty Warriors (the list goes on and on but you get my point), then this game is for you! This leader-esque third person medieval combat really is a diamond in the hundreds of games that get released every year. Currently, it has 3 major factions: the Wu, the Shu and the Wei (Chinese factions) that allow you to command your own soldiers. They expect to expand the variety by adding in Rome and Parthia soon.

Pros:

+Graphics The graphics are unreal- literally. The developers of the game has really put in effort into making the game look fantastic! The crisp detail of the environment ranging from the snowy caps to a desert (WITH ITS OWN FREAKING DUSTSTORMS) allows the player to immerse himself in the game.

+Objectives: There are two win conditions in conquest mode and they really are quite fun to work towards. Do you stick together and go head on against the other 5 generals or do you sneak behind and eliminate the enemy's Marshal (King)? Doing so will leave you allies down by 1 general which is more important than you think but I have snuck a surprise victory quite a few times already.

+Troops: The troops come as varied as they belong to different factions. A brief overview is that the Wu clan has shock troops (glass cannons) that literally chop you to pieces (it's quite funny seeing them in action with PADDLES!). The Wei clan are the tanks in the game and also double up as pikemen (horses get cut into pieces instantly). The Shu clan holds the middle ground as they are shieldmen with average defense and attack. However, their unique trait is that they have ranged weapons like pikes that can shred the other two clans' troops if they are uninhibited. There is no real OP clan as in the hands of a good commander, the troops can be played to their strength. Each troop also has their own unique ability that allows them to be good at what they do.

+Level progression: It's quite easy to level up your troops. Every day you get x2 exp for your first win for EACH troop. In addition, I noticed that everytime there's a maintenance, the GMs have kindly distributed a 3xHr VIP token that pretty much boosts your gains from every match (+30% for all currency).

+Currency: There is really no need to invest money in the game (yet). It really shapes up to be a F2P game as gold (the important currency) can be earned by doing achievements and their importance is not really high. The only useful thing so far is to add more barracks slots as you start out with 6. I heard that the developers plan to add unique stuff to the in-game shop so we will see how it goes after more patches.

+Combat: Now this is the big juju! It's so satisfying to be rewarded with headshots (the sound effect is so awesome too) when you slice people. However, this isn't just clicking away and hoping that you connect with something. There's actual skill involved because there are 3 different types of attacks (chop, slice and crush) to match with the 3 different types of armor (cloth, leather and metal). You can stick with your trusty sword but if it keeps glancing off the enemy armor, you might want to switch up to a club. Each player holds 4 inventory slots when entering a game. As such, I usually like to hold a full complement of weaponry that I can switch up to suit the battlefield. Sometimes, when it comes down to a 1v1 battle, it really takes personal skill to defeat your opponent.

+Music: Sound effects and background music are really off the charts! The arrows falling gives the whistling sound and the launch of catapults with a loud Oomph! are perfect to the T. When engaged in a melee slugfest, the combined metal clashing on metal and screams of men dying really immerses you in. You can actually rely on the sound effect to listen out for a particularly ominous drop of fire pots (during siege) that allows you to dodge at the last moment.

+Modes: Right now, there are 3 different game modes: Conquest (Skirmish/Siege), Duel (PVP) and Epic Battle (PVE). Each of them are really easy to pick up after a few games and all of them are satisfying. However, there are still a few bugs that I would like to point out.

Cons:

-Bugs: Often enough, my weapon slices through nothing even when I actually know I am hitting something. The hit boxes in the game are still a bit wonky.

-AI: It's so maddening to see my troops die even as I mash F2 as somehow they are still aggroed into attacking. Cavalry suffers the most as where I can jump over obstacles, they are limited to the level pathing and thus often enough gets stuck on the walls, cheval-esquie (some tank trap like ♥♥♥♥) and others. Archers don't know how to position themselves to avoid getting shot by each other because you rarely have a flat terrain with no obstacles. But these are just a few small kinks that I believe can be ironed out.

-Duel: Duel mode has a huge problem. Spawn killing. I don't know how the spawning works but sometimes the players spawn one by one as they load into the game. See, the minimum number of players in the game to start it is literally 2. As such, each team will slowly grow as each player joins the match. Sometimes, these players are AFK and ♥♥♥♥♥ like to take advantage of that by looking at the minimap and going straight for the stationary arrow bip. It's nearly impossible to get to 80 too (the game usually ends after the time limit expires) unless it's a one-sided game. You literally just need to have everyone stick together in a giant deathball to win.

-Siege: Siege mode is one of the hardest but also rewarding experiences in the game. I might make a guide for it later but for now, it's getting on my nerves when I get absolute newbies who DON'T know how to play. In Siege, you really NEED teamwork because one fundamental difference is that there's a team reserve. Meaning you can respawn infinitely but your troops CAN'T.

All in all, the game really shapes up to be a contender for my favourite game (Sorry overwatch) but it still has some bugs and mechanics that need to be fixed and polished. As it is, I recommend that you try it because it REALLY IS FUN! Do check out my video that I made and posted both on Youtube and in the video section of this game titled Tiger Knight Gameplay (Snow Map) How to Play.

While besieging a Vampire Count Castle, my Emperor Karl Franz on his Deathclaw charges towards some pesky Fell Beasts hanging about the walls.

In its heroic charge, the God King\'s descendant fails to notice a comet that has him in his trajectory.

\"Your Lord is dead!\"

My hero instant dies from a friendly mortar shot and my swordsmen quickly break against the terror-inducing VC units.

10/10 will play again.
