Do not buy this game or any Ubisoft game. You can't play it without a Uplay account. Just trying to lauch a Ubisoft game requires Uplay. Once you sign up for Uplay expect spam emails, and all kinds of hassles. They even pressure you to give them your phone number, so they can sell it to other companies that robocall you.

This is the true successor to Railroad Tycoon 3. It's more fun than Railroad Empire too.

Fun reflex combat with solid AI if you don't use the Focus "special power". The AI is diverse and it will surround you, attack simultaneously, and use realistic tactics to kill you . 6 guys all around you using different weapons and combos all attacking at the same time. That is what makes Ryse both fun and challenging at its core.
Play on Legendary difficulty and don't use Focus. Focus is a power that lets you freeze time and kill everyone. When you use it the game is pointlessly easy, and this is the reason Ryse got bad reviews. Focus robs the player of the opportunity to experience the game. Without focus Ryse is difficult, and rewarding.

This is Skyrim, so you know what your getting. The original is better for modding, because Bethesda doesn't update it to sell microtransactions like it does with Special Edition (SE). Every time SE gets an update it messes up SKSE, and lots of mods. Original has more mods, better mods, can be modded to look better than SE, and runs better than SE. Download Mod Organizer, get mods at "Nexus Mods", support mod authors, and forget SE.

A true classic. This game is very fun, but suffers from older designs for character leveling, menus, and equipment. Enduring these problems is well worth it, because the combat and gameplay are so well done. The character models are also way ahead of there time. This fun old game is defently worth the price.
