Good news everyone. The requirement has been reverted. We will no longer need to use PSN going forward. Just goes to show that valid criticism does work.

They still have yet to restore the ability to purchase this in the countries that don't have access to PSN.

Firstly, I have played a lot of this game over the years (including before steam) and it is FUN. However I cannot in any way recommend you play this game and would go as far as to say you shouldn't play it.
Gaijin has been on an ever descending spiral of bad choices and anti-consumer changes to the game for years now. Multiple times before they have gotten such massive backlash from the community that they had to revert the changes they were planning.

This recent change was one such time. The economy in the game is already bad enough that without a premium account
at later mid to high tier, you cannot make any credits off of a match unless you play a nearly perfect game. Even with premium you are barely making enough to keep your vehicles repaired, and in naval battles you usually lose credits from a game.

The change they just tried to implement would have cut credit income by 1/3 to 1/2, and increased the cost to repair vehicles by on average around 15%.
The massive backlash from the community made them revert this change, but in traditional Gaijin fashion, they are now insisting that "these changes would have made it easier to earn credits and you all just misunderstood what we were doing. We have loads of data here that PROVES that this would have been a positive change for everyone, and no you cannot see that data."

The usual tactic of this company is to gaslight the playerbase into thinking that they are the reason why the game is in such a poor state, and that the developers "are just trying their best with a community that is so toxic that they are unable to make improvements to the game".

This is the same company that has ignored the players for the better part of 8 years and refuses to look anywhere other than their super sanitized forums (I say this in jest. The forums are at best an echo chamber. I have seen multiple people get banned from the forums for reporting large inaccuracies and bugs, then citing Gaijins own rules on what is required for bug reports to the forum moderators who disagreed with them on if it was actually a bug or not. Result, permaban from the forums) because "the entire community is far too toxic and just wants to see this game fail".

There are a massive host of other problems ranging from game balance, to bugs that prevent you from even playing, to outright fake vehicles and content, a lack of any useful or meaningful communication from the development team, to power tripping moderators on the forums, but reporting site, and steam, to outright lying to the community about what is/has/was being done.

Sadly I don't have the time or willpower to actually go over any of the rest of it, because at that point I would probably off myself.

To reiterate, the game is fun, but its marred by so many massive and glaring issues that I cannot in any way shape or form recommend playing it or giving Gaijin any money.

Stay far far FAR away from this game.

Edit: After people working on getting armor values for multiple tanks fixed for the better part of 6 months, Gaijin has now refused to use any of the literally dozens of available sources while repeatedly insisting that (despite what the sources say) this armor was only ever mounted on a few prototype vehicles. This is a double standard on multiple accounts, as they refuse to use the guestimates regarding armor thickness, while doing so for Russian tanks, are refusing to use the PUBLICLY AVAILABLE INFO regarding the "prototypes", and are refusing to use the armor info because "they are for a few prototype vehicles". Multiple Russian tanks use equipment that was only ever mounted on one or two prototypes. One example is the thermals on the T-80, a modification that was tested one ONE vehicle and never entered production or service due to it not functioning.

To top it off, now they are banning people from the forums for mentioning anything about this.

I got this for smething like 20 cents so i thought, hell! lets give it a shot! for the storyline, its not bad but about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way through you more or less see where its going, as for the ambiance...well lets just say mos of the game i expected something to jump out from behind a corner and scare me.

6/10 IMO, deal with my reviews not being that helpfull.

I dont even know where to start. I must say this game blends the zombie and survival genres quite well, the simplistic graphics give it a sort of "retro-modern" feel, and with the full release of 3.0 coming up fast it will get so much better. I give this game a 8.5/10, now we just need dual pistols :D

A stupid game, but with limitless replayability and explosions. But seriously, its a great game and if you want to try a "demo" just search for Broforce Brototype. Would definitely recommend.
