It's an eroge, you know what you're here for. Simple as that. Now that we got that out of the way, how about the fact that it is actually a solid game? It's gameplay is similar to JRPGs from the 90s or dungeon crawler-types but with a horny twist. And, it WORKS very well and is quite addictive too. You'd probably need to read a guide or two to really get a good grasp of the battle system but in general, even casual gamers would easily understand the mechanics and options. There's also a bit of a "management game" aspect to this as Karryn has to make upgrades to the prison or enhance her abilities.

But you're here for the "poontang." Well, Karryn gets into all sorts of kinky stuff and the art is drawn very well for something that looks "not AAA" on the surface. If you're looking for a fun time after the game makes you work for it, then Karryn's Prison is a great fit for you. And the game really does. It's not an easy game to get to the fun stuff but when you do, it's worth it. All in all, Karryn's Prison may even be the one of the best adult games on Steam. I would say one of the top 5 and I haven't even gone far in it.

And if I may add one more thing, after making this review and playing a bit more, I realised the irony that modern AAA games are in a dumpster fire at the moment. I enjoyed playing this more than most big-name games that came out this year. Maybe it's the simple fact that I'm having fun playing the game. Yes, THAT kind of fun too, but I meant genuine fun that you want to feel when you're playing a game. I think that's what's missing nowadays.
