i'm the dude who plays fallout 4 for the shelter building. but i'm also the dude who refuses to play minecraft because it looks way too tedious. What's always attracted me to zombie games is the concept of simulating surviving an actual zombie apocalypse. I think state of decay does the best job yet of feeling like you are actually trying to survive the end of the world. i've played over 100 hours now and now that the year 1 update is out i'm ready to start it all over again. I love the concept of your character actually dying. you really feel like you have something to lose. My advice for the future would be to build on that. create more possibilities for plot lines and customization to make you feel a real connection to your character. And there can't be a limit to settlement customizability. i wish i could paint my settlement, raise a custom flag, name my settlement, expand the boundary of my settlement to claim territory instead of necessarily HAVING to move locations. This is all what I thought i would get out of fallout 76 but was disappointed. I hope the devs of SOD never give up on doing more work on this project. as long as they keep working, i'll keep supporting. maybe one day we'll get a proper multiplayer version of the game. Love it.
