I wouldn't recommend you purchase this in its current state. It's in a very buggy and janky state at the moment.

For example, walking animations don't match the speed of characters, so their feet slide around making it feel floaty. Dodging sometimes takes you miles, and sometimes nowhere at all. (Any kind of dodge) On occasions, hitboxes stop working entirely for both you and enemies requiring a restart. A lot of enemies can be killed by simply spamming attack, even some bigger enemies.
*And eight directional movement when unsheathed has to be fixed, because it makes playing on controller feel wrong. (This has now been fixed)

I have hope that they will fix a lot of issues with this game, but it should really be marketed as an Early Access for now.

Update: It's been about half a year since release, and they certainly have released a lot of updates. Although from having played to game after every update, there has been no real change in the game. It's still a uphill battle to play, from glitches killing you to cheap enemies attacking like whirlwinds. It seems to me like the developers don't really see the wrongs and rights with the game, so updating like this won't take it anywhere unless some major changes take place.

It's fun and all but only for an hour or so. I really like the developer but I think the asking price is a bit much for how simple of a game it is.

I also know he went for the "difficult but fair" route but I personally feel like the game only starts feeling good once you get good. I didn't get any initial motivation to get that good though because I just felt overwhelmed, but that's more of a subjective point.

For some reason the only thing you can't play in this game is 3 player free-for-all. I don't understand why

Okay, so attacking, walking, jumping and dodging are all extremely clunky. It feels like my character is underwater. Enemies don't have telegraphed attacks at all. The inventory is kind of confusing. And an overwhelming amount of enemies swarming you around almost every corner.

The only thing I like about this game is the graphic-style. But that's it sadly, since gameplay is what makes it fun, atleast for me.

And since the devs dropped this, there no expecting the anything to be finalized. The game will stand like this.

It's not worth your time whatsoever. There's no progression system anymore, alas nothing to keep you going forward. Leveling is gone, and it's basically getting the best gear in one region, then moving to another region to find all the stuff you had in the previous useless.

Mind you this is what the developer accomplished in 6 years.

Obviously a must buy for anyone who likes to battle against massive beasts! With hack and slash combat this game is perfect!

If you ever liked the game Chivalry, you will certainly LOVE this game! It's just so much fun chopping heads and plowing through masses with horses.

And yes, there are some issues with things at the moment, but it will most likely get fixed since alot of stuff already has gotten patched up! Great game, love it!

I think this game is worth every penny! Take Breath of the Wild, add snow, survival and giant beasts. That's this game in a nutshell. The games main goal is to resemble Shadow of the Colossus, which I appreciate. Climb on massive monsters while having to survive in a snowy open landscape. Gather weapons and food, solve puzzles to get better gear.

Performance-wise this game is a mess. It's very laggy in certain situations, though don't let the lag overshadow what great of a game this is, and will be!
Keep in mind that it's in early access and yet to be complete. Things will hopefully change for the better!

My god! Capcom did well on this one! Can't wait till the full version will release. The amazing atmosphere is straight up terrifying! No problems whatsoever, no bugs, nothing. Ran in smoth 60 fps and I still don't have an optimal computer. Great game so far Capcom! :)

If you're looking for a good metroidvania, you won't be disappointed with this one! It's probably my favorite metroidvania nowadays! It's such a cozy little game, the soundtrack is awesome and artstyle so comforting. This game gives off the best vibes, and is super fun to just play through. One plus for me is the difficulty, I like when games are a little more challenging. Even though you might not like difficult games, it'll probably still make up for all the other good aspects.
