The forest by far is my favorite early access game to date.
Everything about this game gets me hooked I will say I stray a lot like I tend to do in the GTA universe but instead of killing a bunch of cops I build entire towns.

I have not delved into the storyline much seeing it’s still early access as I played through most of the story was not completed.

The Crafting system is phenomenal the amount of things you can build is pretty much on par with your imagination.

The shift of night and day is great. During the day I spend most of the time building or gathering never really feeling like you're in any immediate danger, but as soon as the sun sets you feel it makes you not want to step far from your campfire or stay indoors. The cannibals are great source of fear.

The underground areas have a very claustrophobic feeling in many places it’s not hard to get turned around and lost and being the amount of loot is less makes it very easy to die down there.

From when I first began to the time of this review a lot has changed and been added constant updates and fixes the dev seem to be on top of reported problems.

If you like survival based games where you can build bases, consume the flesh of your enemies, and go for long swims in the ocean buy this game. This game is worth more than its price tag.
