I'm re-editing this review to actually make it a review, because I've kind of realized some feelings towards the game.
1. There needs to be 'amount of players' scaling, all I'm seeing lately is compliants about how hard the game is - even on lower difficulties - for newer players.
The game is created with the focus on different weapons, roles, and abilities being given to players in a squad of four.
Even at the early levels, you need atleast two people to handle most units in the game.
One loadout, one EARLY GAME loadout, can't handle the amount of and the variety of enemies.

Easiest way to do this would just be to have a simple unit spawner / and health pool spawner of enemies x amount of players based on difficulty.
Aka base hp/amount of unit consistency of spawns for the difficulty then x it by the amount of players. Make the amounts fair, valid, and consistent. Idk how your balance it now, but alot of us are thinking you just.. don't.
2. More variety in weapons and play style types, like even with the upgrades for turrets - turrets are just ♥♥♥♥ at most moments in the game.
You put it down at an optimal distance, next thing you know bugs zoom for it from halfway across the map the moment it starts firing, it barely was out for 3 seconds and some jumper landed on it and shredded it in 3 hits at difficulty 7/8. Oh wow so glad I took it.
Turrets are basically unusable vs most mobs. Only a SELECT few turrets can even do much overall... and even then it's so inconsistent that you really can't do anything.
Also, can we just get rid of 'stratagem' weapons? Just make them a extra equip slot, It's pointless to have it as stratagems when you keep adding more stratagems.

Overall I approve of the game, but it's like a 7/10. It's fun with friends, miserable without a full group.
I can't even play just me and my boyfriend, because we can't split up and get enough done on higher difficulties fast and efficiently enough to secure a full mission. So we have to either play with randoms, which has been a negative experience most of the time. Or we have to beg friends to be available to play with us lmao.
We used to play it a good amount until we just got so frustrated playing we couldn't.

I'm very.... conflicted about how I feel about it. I feel bad having to give it a no. But within 1 hour I gamed over a few times, finished a run, and had a complete distaste for it all by the end of my first ending.

I thought I was getting a risque dating sim with some spice yet by the end of it all I was left sorely uninterested. I am so bored.

Pros:
Beautiful Art
Characters personalities are great
Voice acting was nice.

Cons:
Story was kind of bland, What? Are you trying to be scary or sexy?
There was no 'good' rewards for end of runs. Wheres the NSFW?
The music got brain-rattlingly old, fast. I had to turn the music off just to have some sanity.
The inner dialogue of the MC was... lacking quite a bit.

Overall I can't suggest it for someone looking for something spicy, but if you want a game that's ... I guess I'll say cute, with vampires, that are bisexual icons? Go for it.

Do you like battle royales?
Are you bad at shooters?
Do you like rpgs with classes and action combat?

Naraka is a fun mixture of BR/RPG/and Action combat game. I literally could not suggest it more. There is balance issues, but as with all games with classes, there is always balance issues.

One of the best mmos for story, socialization, and just having cute asf characters <3

Early access but solid,
If you want a RPG that calls upon DND esq feelings and vibes. This is it for you. It needs polish, lots of it.

Mechanics need fixing,
Graphical errors need smoothening (that's not a word but I'm using it.)
And many, many other things.

But even in a bug filled/early access it's got's so much charm and heart.
You can tell Lahrian really put their all into it.

Go get it, have fun.
Although, if you'd rather wait for the finished game, that's fine too.

I've followed cloud meadow for a while, It's always been a interesting concept to me.
Furthermore embraced by the fact its not a mindless sex game, but instead an RPG.

It's a solid - potential - 8/10.

Lack of customization options, ability to control looks and appearances, and diversity - is the main thing I'm notching points off for. The rest their doing amazing for.

I've completely fallen in love with this game,
the combat feels smooth.
The graphics are stunning.
And the crazy fights..
I was on the beach, With a bounty on my head but trying to kite five dudes.
when I hear the bounty hunter noise, I look up and HERE HE COMES DOWN A CLIFF TO ME.

I just mutter a ♥♥♥♥, then go into the waves, crouching and springing through the water as I shoot arrow after arrow at my pursuers,
I have a unique fighting style, I am a monk. I've been using fists due to their stagger to quickly pop people and dodge, interrupting attacks and parrying with my fists.
The mercenary comes at me, the captain of the guys whose bodies are floating in the water is backing the merc up, Parry. Parry. hit hit hit, Parry. Overpower with R, POP POP POp hit after hit, goes into the merc, The Captain gets a spear into my side, but I dodge the next hit, going behind him to kick him into the waves while I continue the face off with the other mercenary.
This'll be the twelth merc that has tried me- She has poison blades, but I'm more attractive. I have became Kassandra at this point.

POP POP, her blades whirl as I dodge under them, POP POP POP POP - she is sent staggering back, the captain is coming at my back so I decide to finish him off, knocking him out in the lapsing waves of the ocean as she comes back at me.

Parry, - combo into a heavy strike, I stand, waiting for her to come at me as she backs up. She rushes forward and I parry again, followed by the ususal pops into a heavy. She's low now, she can feel her victory slipping. She coats her daggers with poison then comes at me with a rage, - She never really stood a chance, as her corpse floats out to sea - to sink into the depths of poseidon's grasp.

I take out my staff and continue my adventure, There is cultist to kill - my family to reunite - and a glorious odyssey on the horizon.

I don't often write reviews, I hate formatting them and dealing with all of that to make it look "nice"

But I'll say this, With love and TLC this game will actually be very great. Probably on par with, if not akin to - Aion Online.

As a mmojunky, This game will def last a while, the playerbase is weeding out those that can't handle Early access, but theres alot of people leaving that.. want to come back? They just need a good push.

Neowiz the ball is in your park, and I'll reccommend this game so long as you as a team work on this game going forward.

I can see all the potential, and as of right now I'm having fun with friends. Lets hope that fun stays around.
