For a grand launch, there is no event pertaining to it and that is already a red flag.

There's nothing "classic" about this. More like a copy paste of Grand Chase before its fall.

You've been warned but whatever, play it, enjoy it, IDC. Just don't spend money in this trashcan. Don't let the devs milk you easily because of nostalgia.

I'm already at 59 hours gameplay since release
A simple yet addictive game is the best way to describe this.

New Features/Pros ( As compared to GBA ):

- ASSORTED FLAVOR COWS
- ALPACA and RABBITS
- New Girl ( Jennifer )
- Affection meter now shown
- Improved character designs
- Can choose your character / gender
- More capture targets
- Easier to graze and animals go back to barn/coop at 8:00 pm
- Randomized spawn of grass, trunks, lumbers
- Fatigue and stamina is easier to track now
- CAN CHANGE CLOTHES
- MARIE (Best Girl. Can't argue me with this)

Cons ( As compared to GBA ):

- Food recipes are hard to come by ( Can get from resident affections / Lou )
- Can't cook with a random utensil / ingredient

Conclusion:
Best game in a while that I've invested in time heavily. Great improvements as compared to the GBA and it became more user friendly.

Would recommend both in full price / sale.

P.S. MARIE IS THE BEST GIRL

New to the Tales franchise and just recently finished the game.

A: Very good. 9/10 with the totality of the game

Q: Are the characters good?
A: Yes, of course. Each of the characters have their own motives and is not just there to emphasize the main character, You can see the growth of each character as the story passes. I felt heavy emotions with the characters. One I loathe to the extremity and many that I love to death, A 10/10

Q: Story?
A: Money well spent. 9/10

Q: Combat and Dungeon system?
A: Pretty simple but a little bit confusing in the start. It can be considered a button masher but nonetheless you can mix and match to suit your taste. As per the dungeon, the puzzles are fairly simple but if you got it wrong then it is a long walk for you buddy.

Q: Favorite Character/s?
A: Magilou. Definitely Magilous. Then comes Velvet then Phi. No, I take that back, I love all of them.

Q: Will you recommend it?
A: Yes, will recommend it at full price. It is worth every penny.

A perfectly fine game. Not "WOW" but "Okay"

Story - average (6/10)
Main Character - annoying (3/10)
Side Characters - good stuff (8/10)
Music - good stuff (8/10)
Battle - (7/10) a pretty grindy game, I feel underwhelmed with the effects/damage even getting on the higher levels but if you're going for the story only, then this is "OKAY"

PS. Would've been better if they change the story of Refrain and Original... It would make more sense with the 2 additional characters in refrain.

Total Rating: 7/10 - would not buy at full price but will recommend in discounts

This is what I grew up with. My console broke and was unable to play volume 3 back then, but now I managed to finish it all and I can say that I love it. The nostalgia, the characters, everything is good. It made me feel the same excitement as I did back then.

Though I wish they did a bit more on the volume 4. It felt a little way too short but nonetheless, I still enjoyed the whole series.

I played this upon release after CBT, and it is definitely fun but I don't think I can recommend it. Maybe if I just started now where they reworked the "CTF", I could love the game, but I guess I got burned out with the ranked matchmaking back then. It's just sad.
