After reading about the new patch I was super hyped to play this classic again.
Unfortunately I came across some issues that made me refund the game:

-still no resolution setting for 21:9 ultrawide and only resolutions up to 1920x1080
-no analog inputs from gamepad (pretty much just emulating keyboard inputs which sucks)
-multiplayer lobby browser crashes the game for some reason

If they fix any of that stuff feel free to comment

By far the best WipeOut clone on Steam. Gameplay is WipeOut 1:1.
This with modern graphics would be a dream come true. (not saying it looks bad, just not a huge fan of the "classic" look. But the gameplay makes up for it :) )

Say NO to the new BP!

After 94% progression we unlocked "Loading screen and crashing Simulator 2020":
Loading into a chapter results in an infinite loading screen.
Using the "continue" feature loads into the game, but all npcs are frozen and you can't interact with objects. Upon opening the pause menu, the game freezes and is not responding. Time for spooky task manager actions. VERY SCARY!
The first time we got the freeze, it was reproducable with picking up a book in a house.

Verifying game files didn't help. Moving the game to another drive (SSD) didn't help.
Updating graphics drivers and going back to old drivers didn't help.
Almost 3 hours of troubleshooting without any solution.

In its current state, I can not recommend the game.
We'll have to wait for a patch to finish it. If it is even possible to save it. Or save our coop savegame.
The game was interesting enough to keep us playing the 4 hours. But the 3 hours frustration absolutely killed it. In a bad way.

Very sad times, patch pls. :(

Hyped for BL3!!

Still fun after over a thousand hours.

Fun, active online community. Great multiplayer.

After some testing, I've come to the conclusion that it's a fun game.

Schon seit damals auf der Xbox 360 ist es eines der besten Spiele, die ich je gespielt habe. Vor allem die abgefahrene Story und die Inszenierung machen das Spiel aus. Ein Psycho-Action-Thriller der Extraklasse!
