Decently fun game, but after learning about the felonious lawsuit they initiated against a solo developer because said dev has a far superior game had me curious. Upon digging around both their so-called "apology" and the reviews players left in retaliation, I found some very interesting behaviors of these devs...

So, long story short, the lone developer of the much-better game called AQR decided to propose a business partnership with the devs of Mini Motorways, which the devs of Mini Motorways declined before trying to sue the developer of AQR for infringing the copyright of the mechanics of Mini Motorways (knowing full-well that game mechanics are not covered by copyright law; hence making the lawsuit in itself a felony improper usage of the legal system). The players heavily retaliated by review-bombing Mini Motorways and Mini Metro and requesting refunds through Steam (many of which were approved by Valve), the devs of Mini Motorways suddenly backed out of the case and apologized, but it doesn't end there...

They had the guts to take the time to go back through EVERY SINGLE REVIEW calling them out on their horrible actions, not by admitting their mistake and apologizing to the players directly, but by copy/pasting the same generic "there's no lawsuit, check out this half-hearted statement we made to save face".

I wish I knew about this crap BEFORE I purchased Mini Motorways and played it for hours on-end.

Screw these devs and their blaming the lawyers. They always want to point the blame to others for their own stupidity. Please don't make the same mistake I did, and look into this debacle BEFORE paying for any games from this company.

Needs an undo feature and some very basic line draw tools similar to what is seen in any image editor. Drawing with a mouse makes it nearly impossible to get decently straight lines or smooth curves.

The developers do not have a forum, Discord, or other place for their community to give feedback, which probably means they are going to handle the game worse than SCS, not rival it to spur innovation.
I really hope they get rid of the star score system in the full game. There is nothing about trucking that has a system like this. It's horribly unrealistic, useless, and only serves to halt your progression.
Beyond that, I really like how this game handled securing cargo, connecting or dropping a trailer, and allows you to click the various objects in the cab. I hope to see more modern trucks in the full game, or maybe see a great truck modding community that can add them. They don't seem to be licensed vehicles, but rather fictional,generic trucks, so they shouldn't get bogged down by licensing like SCS does constantly.
One thing they really need to add is the ability to change the position of the steering wheel (because the gauges are blocked by it unless the seat is in the perfect spot) and changing the convex mirrors independently of the main mirrors. As it is now, the mirrors are useless because you can't see the trailer tandems when turning.
I would also like to be able to add keybinds for turning the camera toward the two sides and straight ahead like ATS/ETS2 has, and being able to adjust the FOV so you can see the mirrors slightly when looking forward.

I hate to give the entire product a bad review for these few little things, but it is the only way to show the developers what we suggest because they have not set up a proper system for that.

The developers refuse to implement new gameplay to accurately represent the trucking lifestyle, such as hours of service, vehicle inspections, weight stations that issue overweight fines,, and more. They work on more eye candy such as better graphics, more roads, and new cargo models.
Any such criticism gets you banned from their social media and forums. They are happy to take your money, but not to listen to you feedback unless it is sucking up to them with "please give us more".
