I heard a lot about this game and had not played it before hearing about Fallout 4, so I decided to give it a go with that incoming.

I'll have to admit that it is not bad, the gameplay is that of a Bethesda game, i.e. in the vain of Oblivion and Skyrim. It is definitely an older gamewith lesser graphics of Skyrim but not bad.

I'm assuming that this is a port of a console game or it wasnt originally released for PC as it is chronic for crashing, bugging out, failing in mid game. This really does hamper the enjoyment of the game. I did go through a set of 6 crashes in 3 hours. Unplayable during that time though for some reason it has setlled down.

Do I recommend it? No, this version of the game is just so entirely broken with crashes and glitches that I can't recommend it.

Hey

Have you managed to get the game running without crashing often?

To fix Fallout 3 issues - Have a look through the ULTIMATE Fallout 3 Setup & Mod guide Windows 10, 8 & 7

If the game crashes before the launcher, look at updating GFWL (Games for Windows Live) - #1; optionally, you could disable GFWL - #2

If the Fallout 3 crashes during gameplay - Have a look through the multi-core crash fix (#4) as well as the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch (#6),

#7 is for systems running the game on an Intel HD GPU

If the game just doesn't seem to run, or if you simply didn't enjoy it - have a look through the New & Revamped Steam Refunds System .
