This is probably my favorite strategy game, it has such a large variety of playstyles and the new content just adds more and more unique ways to augment those playstyles. Peaceful pacifists to genocidal AI and everything in between and more. I mainly play when new content comes out for the game or whenever I just feel like listening to the soundtrack and passively do some empire managing. There is a lot to learn and I learn something new about the game just about every time I open it, but if you have someone there willing to help, the game is not too difficult to learn but can be quite difficult to master. I kinda just use the game to chill with friends for long periods of time, those that are interested at least.
