TL;DR : Amazing game, great story, terrible port.

Might as well delve into the positives first.

STORY:
The story is very good (better than Fallen Order's imo), great use of villains, missions don't feel convoluted and repetitive. The emotions Cal and the other characters experience actually make sense and nothing in the game's story feels unnatural (well, for a Star Wars game).

Combat and Customisation:
The combat system and skill tree is fantastic. It wasn't an issue for Jedi Fallen Order and they've made it so much better for Survivor. The different stances are very fun to mess around with and the weapon and droid customization is something you could mess around with for hours. The looting system has been overhauled and actually makes you want to explore different areas thoroughly.

World building:
The world's featured in the game are gorgeous and filled with so many memorable sights and visuals that again, you actually want to explore them. From finding legendary beasts to fight to finding hidden areas or even just more items for cal/bd-1 the game looks stunning. Two of the main worlds you go to are massive (especially Koboh) and even the smaller worlds still have enough for you to take extra time to explore.

The map system:
A short one but they've made the map so much more user-friendly and useful compared to the last game. Could still do with a little more work but definitely an improvement.

Ok, now for the glaring issue.

The FPS:
I was warned before getting the game that the port was awful irrespective of what specs your pc had. My rig has 16gb of ram, uses an AMD 6600 and a 8 core CPU intel 11 series. More than what the game needs to run. Most of the map areas are fine, and if my fps drop, it corrects itself after a few seconds. But the entire area around Pyloon's Saloon on Koboh is AWFUL. I can run any other area of the game on high settings with ray tracing on, but with ray tracing off and low settings that one part of the game runs like hell. Terrible considering how much time you're going to spend around that area.

Conclusion:
Worth getting, but not at the moment. Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date or you wont get past the title screen. Wait for the devs to fix it the performance issues in an update or wait for it to go on sale. Very disappointing release because if the fps issue was fixed, it'd have an argument for being the best star wars game ever. But every time I went to a new area I couldn't help but think "will my fps drop here?".
Save yourself the stress and wait for a fix.

Recensione di CS:GO
If you want to become part of one of gaming's most notoriously toxic communities, play as a cog in a reprobatal team of players who either don't have microphones or complain throughout the whole game, if you want to play against smurfs and hackers (which valve seem to give no ♥♥♥♥♥ about), if you want to play a game so notoriously broken that the term "CS:GO'd"" has been coined, then this absolute piece of garbage is for you.

I have just shy of 1000 hours on this game, and if you fit the toxic persona or are immune to tilting at the hand of idiot teammates, then this is for you.
However, if you want a good team game, that is regularly updated by developers who care about it, this is most certainly not the game for you.

Valve simply use CS:GO as a cash cow, nothing more.

Save yourself the pain and mind numbing stress and buy PUBG, there's a reason CS:GO is losing players and PUBG is gaining.

"The First Tree" is one of the most unique games I've played. I originally bought this game to remove an awkward $8 from my wallet. What I received was a thoroughly interesting story told through unique methods which further entice the player.

Pros:
-The story is well written, and (without spoiling), David Wehle does an amazing job at telling an emotional story, and speaking personally, did a brilliant job with the pacing. This can be described by the popularly coined "walking simulator", but the pacing was well done to the point where the walking didn't seem boring, and the distance wasn't long enough to disengage the player from the story.
-The visuals are absolutely mesmerising. The game does an exceptional job at using light and shadows to create a vibrant and beautiful landscapes. Whether it's a starlit night sky, or an Autumn grassland, this game is an artistic masterpiece, and fully immerses the player in the game.
-The soundtrack for this game really impressed. The music was composed by Josh Kramer (with other musicians contributing in part, but primarily by Kramer), who seems to have a brilliant understanding of how to use music to evoke strong feelings of sadness and nostalgia with a powerful score. Music can be an area which is subjective to a lot of people, so it can be hard to unanimously impress, but the overwhelming result in the review section agrees that this soundtrack is astonishing, and I am yet to hear a negative complaint.

You can tell a lot of energy and care went into this game, and it really reflects.

I genuinely can't think of any cons of this game. However, there are factors to be considered before purchase.
-This is a game with a particular niche. This is a storytelling game which excels at what it aims to do. However, if you are more of an action based player, this might not be a game you will enjoy. It mainly consists of walking from point A-B. You may find it boring if you expect it to be an action game or one with multiple functions, but the devs dont lie about what it is. If you purchase expecting it to be a massive game with gruelling action, it's your fault.
-The playtime for this game is short. I completed it in 1.3 hours. I would replay it in the same sense as I would re-read a book: knowing how it ends, but to relive the experience I had reading it prior, to a slightly dulled extent. If you don't want to spend the money on what is essentially a 1 hour game, that is understandable. However, I don't regret buying it in the slightest, and would encourage others to buy it.

Overall, this is one of the best storytelling games I've ever played. The entire team obviously cared about it a lot. Everythng, from the voice acting to the design is very well done, and thinking of real, unambiguous cons felt really forced. HOWEVER, the $8 pricetag is a bit excessive for a 1.3 hour game, and I would encourage to wait until a sale to buy it if money is an issue. I would absolutely recommend this game to someone looking for a short game with a big reward. However, I would encourage one to think before purchase to make sure it fits their desired criteria.

I would rather drag my testicles through a field of thorns than buy this game for a second time. Broken game ran by idiot, money hungry developers.
