This game is pretty much identical to the website version, there are very few changes like the menu screen. Some of the text hasn't even been changed like with difficulty selection that still proposes one of the game modes is "new". Overall I would recommend this game if the images interest you even though it is bare bones, however it is quite an enjoyable experience. I am not sure it is worth the $5 price point considering you can still find practically the full game online for free though.

Okay, so maybe substantial wasn't the right word, but I also learned that this upgrade originally was a kickstarter backing perk, and he put it on Steam mostly to drum up support for his new game Godfall. I never expected this game to come on Steam. I'm still reeling from the shock. :)

I really don't find any of that substantial in anyway. The graphics are near the same, the balance options were simple tweaks, and the rest is negligible.

Actually, there are some substantial changes compared ot the Kongregate verison. For one, additional options to balance the RNG more in your favor, better graphics, a few more options. There's a thread on the forum that actually explains all the changes.
