I'm sad to say that this game is not very good as a shmup. The hitbox is far too large and the fuel mechanic is fine until the game refuses to refill it even though it goes down on its own. I feel like the game would benefit from maybe the cars being a little faster, the hitbox not being the size of the planet, and the fuel system either being reworked or adding a lives system so that good scoring can reward extends. It's not satisfying when racking up a combo for three stages means nothing after getting random strays hit into death. In its current state this game isn't worth picking up.

This game is really good. It has some of the best movement and gunplay I've ever played. However, this game isn't perfect, just close. This game suffers from the same problem a lot of indie games have. It's about an hour too long. Of the 32 main levels in the game, about 6 are just bad and entirely too long and they are in a little group right before one of the portals. The rest of the levels are awesome, but the game ends on an obvious "wait until we put out the next chapter". Overall I give the game an 8 out of 10 with the only complaints being the bad levels that are present. I will definitely pick up the game again when more chapters come out, but I hope they just cut out the lazy levels. I'd rather 26 awesome levels on their own than 26 awesome levels and 6 crappy ones.

This is a good game with friends. It's kind of less fun playing solo but the concept is a strong one. After 28 hours of play I finally beat the first season's boss with my wife and our friend and we really couldn't be more satisfied with ourselves. The game feels good to play and the gameplay loop is strong. It had a rocky launch but give the game a shot with some friends and you may just fall in love with this coop action as well.


NOTE: The game is still pretty buggy in some areas, so I also wouldn't blame you for being turned off by that.

I happened to receive this game for free during a key giveaway during Shmup Slam 4 which you should check out if you haven't. This game is an incredibly well made shmup. It is 7 stages long and each one is actually designed quite well. It gives off huge Parodius vibes which is also awesome. All in all, if I hadn't received the game for free I definitely would've bought it especially for 6 bucks US. If you enjoy shmups at all definitely give this game a shot. I can't recommend it enough.

I love Mega Man Battle Network and this scratches that itch amazingly. Every once in a while the game feels a tad unfair, but that's a roguelite for you. It's a super fun game that is great for either tiny sessions or longplays. Great game guys, but online pvp/coop would be rad.
