You must understand that Dark Souls isn't and won't hold your hand through any of your time playing.
It has the clear intention of being unfair with you at every turn.
Disregard what you have learned from other games and start a new, don't apply Hack n' Slash to Dark Souls.
Despite all the torment you'll go through playing this game. When you acomplish something.
You WILL feel the acomplishment from it.

Get ready for your journey into Lordran, for it will be an arduous one.
The people you will come across are all different, all complex in their own way.
Some have ideals different to your own. Prepare for conflicts you shall encounter.
