This is probably the most fun I have had in years. I have never thought a triple A game is worth 70 USD, but this one actually is. I'd highly suggest even buying the season pass. This game is addictive and is even more fun in the sense of there's festivals, characters coming, and encourages you to play your own style. Now there are some noticeable cons. You can only run at 60FPS. Defiantly put it on an SSD. Is a pretty high priced game. Now the love is there. Recommend using a controller, just because most racing games are enjoyable that way. Also there's great music in this game. Sonic games usually have some really good songs and some meh songs, this one has Camellia, Hatsune Miku, and Creepy Nuts in the catalog. You can also just pick which songs you want in the extra menu via the jukebox function. If you do not have the funds this is a game to pick up on a sale, but don't feel left out. It feels like Sega is going to give this game a lot of love and live service updates, via events, small tweaks in gear choices, and who knows what collabs we're going to get in the future. Miku and Joker being free for everyone is already insane, then the paid for characters are Minecraft and Spongebob, like who knows what is in stored. I think if you're worried about buying into the hype try the demo, it is honestly extremely fun and immersive if you like arcade cart racing games like Mario Kart. I would dare say it's better.
