The RNG of upgrades is too much for me, I work full time.

Garbage not worth even 9.99, not for a couple of hours of play.

10 dam hours to beat this game?! What a joke! I know there's "alternate endings" but please, I don't give a crap about seeing the same crap enemies, same weapons that all feel the same, same cheesy maps for a different end to the story. I mean, the side quests are boring, the upgrading is overly confusing and seems complex for the sake of complexity and nothing else. There's not much to do in another play through that I didn't get to do the first time. Grind for weapons upgrades you don't really need? NO Fetch and carry or explore this are side quests? NO How about FISHING?!?! HELL NO!
This thing is a slap in the face based on the cost, not to mention all the hype. I don't know about other ppl, but I have too long a list of games to try out to replay a years old piece like this. For less then $10, maybe, just don't expect a robust game.

This is an amazing game, far and away the best co-op shooter out there. Puts Vermintide 2 to shame with the garbage way those dev's treat their players with pay to win mechanics, unbalanced paid DLC etc. The Dev's for DRG are the most committed that I've seen in years, maybe ever. So much content being added regularly, and all free!!!

Totally worth getting even if you just end up playing with randoms, you DON'T NEED A PRE-MADE GROUP TO HAVE FUN!!! No need for discord or a mic unless you want that either.

Update at 500 plus hrs: dev's still killing it making this game better and better at no cost. Still rockin' the gameplay loop with the RNG maps and mission variety, plus the character build flexibility is awesome.

UPDATE: Watch out, the community is becoming more toxic and crap as time passes, so if you played back in the day don't expect the same feel to the game, specially if you play with unknowns or post in forums

Not worth it! Feels like a console game from an older machine. Terrible port, controls are crap on keyboard/mouse or controller. Same fights over and over, enemies respawn for dumb reasons. Boring and clunky, stay away at all costs.

Clunky controls, 90's era graphics and bugs too, all this broke any immersion the game built. They also dont mention that there is content only avaliable to ppl who pre-purchased the game on some ghetto-kickstarter thing, but they do make adding that content part of the new game menu so you're sure to know you're missing out something. People were sharing the code that allowed access but of course it got deleted and censored ASAP. I usually try and support indie dev's but save ur time and money with this one. It takes pretty much every bit of suspension of disblief adn imagination avaliable to make this scary, at all.

I'm so glad i got this peice of junk(NOT!), now that #2 is on its way soon. I'm sure that'll be all that this game could have been with a new, pretty finish. Weak Sauce! Don't buy, or at the very minimum at least wait for 2.

I've owned this game virtually since it was avaliable on steam, and honestly even with the cars they added recently the game still feels pretty much just like it did when I first started. It has alot of potential, but at this point its not worth the investment. Maybe in a couple if years. The animations are weak and super generic, there is the steepest learning curve of almost any game ive played and the progress of the dev's is so slow that I've given up at this point. I mean, if u want an extreamly complex survival game with 90's era graphics that you likely won't survive in long enough to actually experience any of that complexity, maybe this is something you'd like. I remember years ago I'd sing the praises of this game but now I won't be recommending it to anyone till its finally finished(if ever) and i can actually see what they want to call a complete game.

UPDATE: still more complex systems and things to do, but the UI is too cumbersome for the overwhelming variety of things that you can technically do in this game. Only problem is that you won't live long enough to experience the vast majority of this content, but its in there to confuse and complicate the game. And still no NPC's...

Total garbage, crashes evey 10 or 15 minutes and I've tried every fix out there. and they still wont refund me, just no response!

I bought this game beacuse I remember the first AvP that came out back in the day, and even though I got it on sale I still feel totally cheated. Im gong to be attempting a return, we'll see on that... The reason is that 4 or 5 checkpoints into the game a bug comes up that stops you dead in your tracks in the marine campaign. Dam, i played for like 40 minutes before I run into a game breaking bug. Well done, you complete tools of developers. Its total junk, don't waste a cent or a second of yuor time.
