LOCKDOWN Protocol is the perfect game for anyone who's ever wanted to combine the anxiety of surviving a space station lockdown with the joy of not knowing what any of the buttons do. This game is like Among Us, but with proximity chat, the 2nd amendment, and a third dimension. Perfect for game nights if you've got friends, or you can make some in the space community. Rounds are short enough that you can fit a few in while your wife hangs out with her boyfriend. Get Lockdown Protocol today so you can be one step ahead of your friends when the next pandemic hits!

Are you bad at Call of Duty? What about Overwatch? Maybe even Team Fortress? Well come be bad in The Finals. I'm talking Michael Jackson bad. This game is easy to pick up, frustrating to lose in, and most importantly it's more addictive than touching yourself when you're bored. Play with two strangers, or two friends. Time to tell your third friend, "too bad, Steve, you can't handle the heat and for that reason, I'm cutting you." The Finals? More like "The Most Fun You Can Have With Your Only Two Friends in the World."

First off, through Metem all things are possible so write that down. I may have been born too late to explore the world for the first time, but thankfully was born just in time to cram (online) into an early-acccess ship with my best bros and explore space. This game is like an action packed version of OverCooked, where the meals are engine-trim levers and 50mm space-cannons and the customers are some alien-species that I've been told to hate by some sentient AI. 10/10 Stars.

If you're not into scary games, you are going to hate the tutorial for Outlast Trials. But once you get through that, once you've tasted that fear, you're hooked. The grading feels like what I imagine most first generation American families judge their children by, but hey it doesn't matter because Father loves you..And were you really even trying? 9/10 recommend as long as you don't have a pace-maker. Great co-op game to play with friends after your wife leaves you, and even if you don't have friends you can always join a random lobby and play with a teenager whose dad walked out.

The FBI will probably have me and my buddies on a watchlist for how much we enjoy this game. When you realize this game is still in Early-Release, it'll excite you even more knowing all of the potential this game has. For sure play-able with two players, but way more enjoyable with three of your least tactical friends fumbling your way through a pedophile's house and blasting everyone you see with a shotty until you find the lead predator and execute him as he deserves.

One of my all time favorites, easy to hop in and out of. Scratches that itch to explore and craft without worrying about all those pesky dimensions. 2D for me baby.

Original review at 150 total hours and literally 5 years ago: This game will suck you in and then it will take your wife, your job and your soul. But I wouldn't trade it for anything. Christie if you're reading this, I don't miss you.

Current review at 1335 total hours: I feel like Hunt Showdown may have reached it's zenith years ago and I was too naive to believe it. For the past year I have been hyped for this update, and although I've tried being patient, I think it's time to hang up the hat. I wouldn't recommend this to any new hunters, the golden age is long gone.

Pros:
+If you still have friends interested in this game, it still has moments of pure adrenaline that few other games can match
+Developers seem to work hard on issues the community cares about (more below)

Cons:
-Playing with randoms feels worse than ever. Server connection issues, randoms just leaving the moment they get downed, communication is limited and open to everyone within 50 meters it seems.
-Trade windows feel worse than ever. Really wish Crytek had figured out dedicated servers at some point over the course of the half-decade I've been playing.
-6 star lobbies feel like purgatory..there is no escaping it, and there is also no winning. There is always a more cracked 6 star squad out there, and they're probably in my lobby.
-Where are the old maps???
-Developers don't actually produce the results the long-term community has asked for...they can't even produce results in the short term either, like the user interface.

The list goes on. I for sure got my money's worth out of the game, but this just doesn't feel like how I wanted to remember the game I used to love.

This game is like if Minecraft and Terraria had a baby, but while they were having a baby, Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Fortnite had a baby, and then those babies grew up, met eachother, and fu...You get the idea. This game absolutely slaps.

Previous overall was 7/10 with the following comment: "Definitely some basic improvements like running or better graphics that could be added, but overall for an early access game I'm a huge fan. Excited to see how this game develops"

After taking a long hiatus, I'd upgrade this score to an 8/10. Game is definitely getting much better, but still has a ways to go to reach its full potential and I'm so excited to see it do that. Multi-player has improved a bunch; but, running is still frustrating because I'm scared of the dark and the store menu could use some alterations.
