I remember playing this game on my Sega Saturn.

All jokes aside, This game is fantastic! The aethetics are beautiful, the platforming is easy to pick up, and the music adds the perfect touch of nostalgia. I'd highly recommend picking this game up as well as its sequel. It's not like they're asking for much. I would've gladly paid more for this level of quality and passion.

I noticed some of the models for certain things in this game such as Toree's model have something that the Saturn was known for implementing more commonly than the PlayStation. Gourauds. Gourauds add a blend of two colors on textures to give the illusion of lighting and depth. While most games opted to use actual baked lighting in their games, the Saturn would often use gourauds everywhere in its 3D games. Sadly, this wasn't enough to give the Saturn the edge over PlayStation since most people just cared about 3D in the end. And the PlayStation delivered more of that in general so the Saturn lost. Still, gourauds are a rare and unique aesthetic that I always look for in retro 5th gen looking games like these. So Toree 3D and Toree 2 really stand out from other indie games for me.

Absolutely fantastic! This game has a great plot line that is very well inspired. The atmosphere is perfectly set in an environment that gives a macabre sense of abandonment and dread. Many areas where you would feel like if you died there, nobody would find your corpse. If you like Silent Hill, then this game is probably something you would like. It's graphics bear a charming resemblance to that of the PS1 and Sega Saturn but still keeps the player immersed into the game. Well done. I hope to see the sequel come out.

----------MEANWHILE AT DAYBREAK HQ------------

Day Break CEO: "Okay, we've made our money. More money then we ever expected or need. I think we can just force this buggy ass game out of beta and make it free to play for any COD playing 12 year old mic squeaker to hop on."

Daybreak employee: "Well, what about those who payed for it during development? Shouldn't we give them something awesome to show our appreciation? After all, this wouldn't be possible without them.

Day Break CEO: "You're right. How about offering them more cosmetics and skins in the store. LIKE COUNTER STRIKE GO!"

Daybreak employee: "Well, our company has made quite a large ammount of money from this. Perhaps letting them have a refund? Or perhaps making the game at least run better like a game that REALLY IS out of beta? Maybe with much better framerate and less lag?"

Daybreak CEO: "Your common sense and reguard for our paying customers hurts my grey matter. Perhaps it's time we discussed your performance review? *takes out pink paper*

Daybreak employee: "Uuhh. Tha-that w-won't be necessary, sir."

Daybreak CEO: "Then maybe if you never speak like that again I'll reconsider it."

Daybreak employee: "Y-yes sir."

Daybreak CEO: "Good. Now get back to work."

GOOD SHOW! JOLLY GOOD SHOW! The game has an amazing sense of macabre horror and is amazing for an original HL engine mod. Well done to the developers.
