The game randomly crashes and unrecoverably corrupts your save files. Steam Cloud will NOT save you as the corrupted files are uploaded and overwrite the good saves. There are dozens of cases of this happening online since release and NO FIX HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTED BY THE DEVS IN ALL THESE YEARS. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
