I'm sure that despite what I will do in life, I won't let someone hold me back from doing what I think is right.

I am a young man in his 20s, taking the full brunt of school as a full-time student with a part-time job. Just this past month, I was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder, and in this past year, I have been attending therapy. The series as a whole has changed my life, and brightened so many dark spots that hovered over my childhood. When I play games, I play to have a great time. For a small moment, I expect that I will experience a work of art that will ultimately brighten my day. And after finishing Persona 3 Reload, I can say that it has left me more than brightened and shattered. It has left me with the outlook that life is brighter than it looks, and that Persona 3 Reload is a great ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

I cried at the ending. I cried at the small, and profoundly heavy themes that Persona 3 Reload tries to convey to its audience through its characters, and ends up wrapping up at the end. For old fans, Persona 3 has been remastered, modernized, and has been given so much love from its developers. It keeps the old feel of the game, and yet, keeps a new focus on how rather frail life really is as a whole. P3R lets you know that outside of its experience: you have one life. That small life matters, and with the people around you, ordinary or unique - they too are special in their own way. Although the game brings this up plenty of times, many of us are also still trying to figure out who we are. You see, in many ways, Persona 3 Reload brings up the question of how we can be ultimately happy. Many attribute it with success, and a personal goal, but with the way Persona 3 Reload tries to answer this; to guide how one can be happy...

The game urges its players to do one thing. Find something/someone to care about. It makes a point that if we can learn more about one another with our own types of kindness, and to understand that it doesn't have to be displayed in a grandiose manner - we will find a purpose. You spend around half the game kicking ass, and the other listening to others. A good majority of these characters will help support this theme by having them FEEL human through spectacular writing and voice acting. And a lot of these characters never fall into the neutral category, as you either like them or hate them. There are fights in the game where you must think before you act, and especially on harder difficulties, rewards those who plan accordingly. But aside from that?

Get Persona 3 Reload. Get yourself a game that will be both really cheesy and also really heartfelt. I have never, EVER played a game in my entire life that has made me want to touch grass - and made me want to become a pretty boy who points a gun to his head and yells Persona just to send someone to hell, and then to go on a date with a girl the very next day like nothing happened. Please. 10/10,

I'm a firm believer in the fact that you tend to carry your past with you as you grow. In life, I believe that it defines you too. In life, we sometimes crave to make a big difference, a way to express ourselves. And in our world, whether it'd be fashion, the sick tricks you pull on a skateboard, or straight-up art, this game is proof that we love doing it. Clearly inspired by Jet Set Radio, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is funky and righteously cool.

So, do you want style? Do you want great music, with a bit of mo-cap dancing? You want a testament to an era of art that I grew up off of, and that I associate so proudly with myself? Then, play this game. No matter who you are, this game encourages you to be yourself as you take things with the flow, and incorporate your own style within the city of New Amsterdam.

And the best part is? Once you hit the end of the game, your objective is to hang out. A character in it told me this too:

"...There are things you can't change. Your age, your roots. You better own and rock that ****."

So, get an Xbox controller. Pay attention to the story. And most importantly, as you buy and play this game, enjoy yourself. Or don't. It's your choice. Either way, I'm part of the Bomb Rush Crew, and you should be too.
