There are several things to point out with this game and my review in general before I start.
1. My play time with this game on steam does not accurately represent my actual playtime with it as I played it and perfected it on Xbox with around 150 hours in it
2. I will first review the general game and how it was on Xbox, and then will end it with how the PC version stacks up.

Pros-
-Difficult to the point of feeling accomplished after beating something, but not too challenging to where you want to give up (with a few exceptions I will elaborate on later).
-Great in depth lore that you can get into if you want by reading item descriptions and dialogue, but can also skip if you find yourself not as immersed in such things.
-Amazing world that keeps making circles around itself. This game is the exact opposite of linear because you are able to go wherever you want first. Several times when I came out through a shortcut I would say "OH OK, so that's where I am"
-No load times unless you fast travel (which you will quite a bit).
-Great combat system that tests your patience and punishes your greed time and time again. Rarely will find yourself saying "That was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" but rather "I shouldn't have done that" or "I won't do that again" (Unless we're talking about PVP which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sometimes.
-Plenty of different ways to play the game using the level system and the weapon variety.
-A great game to get all of the achievements in because it actually feels rewarding when you finish it and provides just enough challenge to keep it interesting while doing it.
-Can play in online mode and experience the fun of sunbros and the pain of invaders, or you can play offline and fight npc invaders or summon npc helpers. This is one of the games that doesn't lock away items or secrets behind online play, as every item in the game is possible to get in offline mode.

-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Area based covenants.
-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Hackers with curse weapons.
-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Drop rates.

-PC Version

-♥♥♥♥♥♥ controls, LIKE ABSOLUTE GARBAGE.
-Still the same framedrops mentioned earlier.
-has controller buttons instead of keyboard buttons on the tips.
-Just overall a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ port from the console version.

Just download DSFIX though and it should fix all of these problems.

I enjoyed this game when it came out ALOT. Over time they added more updates that made it more confusing as to what I was doing when i would stop playing for a month. They regularly add new content (although some is not free), but i would still recommend it to someone wanting to play a co-op game with their friends. To anyone that is considering buying this during a sale, do it. To people wanting to buy the game while there is no sale, wait for one. I feel as though it is a fun game to play every now and then, but definetly not a game where i would be able to sit through and play it for hours on end. A good game to pick up if you liked the first one and a good game to play with 3 friends when you're sick of Left 4 Dead and Borderlands.

A semi-realistic zombie survival game that also doubles as a great co-op game. A game to just enjoy for what it is, A melee based semi-difficult zombie survival with borderlandesque loot system.

Absolutely STUNNING. A fully immersive experience with beautiful graphics, gameplay and story. Easily my favorite game of all time!

I know this is the cliche comment, but it's true. It is Skyrim with guns

Endless hours of fun, definetly worth the $10.
