Oh, silly Valve. You're supposed to EXPUNGE the shovelware from Steam, not add more of it. It's okay, we know what to do with it.

It's a really great game and very well made but at the moment there are no real overarching goals. You just play the game for the sake of playing the game. You build a factory for the sake of building a factory. They need to implement drivers like Factorio has for example.

-Defending against an Alien threat that scales up with pollution
-Some ultimate, end game goal. This could be coupled with an overarching progression system with the company you work for, benefits that encourages replayability.

Other than that, there's nothing much to complain about that probably will not be expanded upon in the game's future.

This game can give you very awful first impressions, especially in my case where I encountered a very frustrating bug skewing predator spawn rate that caused me to misjudge things early on and write up an embarrassingly angry review..

This game is fantastic and engrossing, atmospheric and beautiful, and frankly the game motivates you to deal with most of its mechanics and enjoy them. I do wish there was more attention to detail. There are currently a lack of animations when interacting with things, my biggest gripe being crouching, as it is just an instant frame of going from one to the other which just feels very odd and out of place given the attention to detail given elsewhere.

All in all, great game, and this is still just a foundation. I can't wait to see what else they do to improve this game.

They had enough to worry about with their garbage tier game without the politics. Most of us are tired of it and I will never support them again. Hope the payout was worth it.

Amazon should not be allowed to have anything to do with video games

Censorship, mutilation of the source material, and the usual, abysmally awful management capabilities we've come to expect from Amazon Games.

Hopefully this one will be tossed to another publisher and soon.

Luckily it seems worth the 10 dollars, because this is yet another game that doesn't like to actually close out when you quit to desktop and racks up free hours on your steam account.
