Do not purchase Stellaris. It is not possible to complete a game of Stellaris due to several concurrent issues. The autosave functionality will eventually start to crash your game, becoming a guarantee in the last third. The game's performance will decline as the game progresses, however this degradation is made much more extreme with each additional DLC and will eventually start to crash your game, and can start as early as the middle of the game's runtime if you use all DLC.

These issues have not been resolved, or even worked on by the developer, as this game is one of the original Paradox classics of wildly over-priced DLC spam. This game is not worth purchasing. Please don't let Paradox keep getting away with it.
