I would really like to play this game, and everything seems to be working properly but after creating my character I try to go to tutorial or singleplayer doesnt matter which, it wont let me and gives me the two following options "sorry timed out" and "cancel" SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

Like every game there are pros and cons, but tf2 is just too good. I started playing tf2 when it became F2P meaning that I didnt pay for the game well until I became premium which wasn't even a lot of money. At first my cousin was the one that got me into this game, at the time I played call of duty modern warfare ( I wasn't a 12 yr old squeaker dont worry ) but yeah I though why not? its free if I dont like it I can just delete it. So I played tf2 for a little awhile being a hatless noob and what not, until I found my first hat! It was a charmers chapeau for the spy and man did I treasure it, its the one hat in my bp I will never get rid of. So I played tf2 longer and started to get pretty decent and finally felt that I should become premium, so I went ahead and bought an item for the online store and BOOM! everything shot off from there. Team fortress 2 was the only game I played for a long time. I soon got into trading and havent stopped ever since, Im really baffled on how the whole tf2 trading economy works for being only a game. I traded my way up to an unusual and have a fair amount of hats in my bp as of now. If your'e still reading this thanks! but yeah tf2 is a really good game but remind yourself everything in this game is VIRTUAL.
