Update: Updating this review after the news of Sony stepping back the PSN changes to positive, as per my original review.

The situation aside I would like to offer my honest opinion on this game now.

Is it a perfect game? No. Is it a fun game? Absolutely.
Sometimes it feels like you're fighting bugs more than the bugs, however the high moments along with the absolutely stellar moment to moment gameplay with gorgeous graphics, crunchy combat and fun coop mechanics still makes it a worthwhile game to come back to. Time and time again.

I don't think this game will ever be fully stable. I think the jank is just part of the identity and here to stay for the foreseeable future. It's unfortunate to say but it is what I truly believe. I hope I am pleasantly surprised a few months down the line.

Here's to Arrowhead and a true once in a decade gaming experience. Hope things work out for you guys.

I thought this game was about horror and survival, little did I know it would soon turn into a space ice themed dating simulator.

10/10 absolutely stellar game and story progression.

Used to be a great game, bit rough around the edges but overall a fun time. Writing this cause I got a random update for the game out of nowhere. I downloaded it hoping to see a singleplayer version of the game be avaliable only to be faced with the same "servers have been shut down" message.

This game could've been amazing, but bossa dropped the ball and their first move was to just put a gun to the games head.

Thing is, they were planning on introducing microtransactions to help fund the game, and rant on those as you will but I would've certainly bought some and helped support the game! But they went with the easy route...

Be careful around Bossa for the future guys... :/
